if edward wasnt there, go to either diamond city or goodneighbor. if he isnt there then go to the insane asylum and kill all the hostile guards. wait a week (in game time) and check them again

Have you mentioned the cryolator? The freeze gun in vault 111. Either have lock picking skill to master and pick it out of the case or tell Dogmeat to search and he will fetch it and trade with the dog to get the ammo

+Cloud Sodding Strife Well, I play my character as a sniper. About 60% of my kills are sneak attack head shots. If I am facing a behemoth, you can be darn sure that's how the fight started. I can usually hit the head in subsequent shots as well even as it charges. (My experience may be quite different from the norm, as I never use VATS.)

+Peter Cohen it's about the same for me I have a two shot sniper rifle. The Gauss rifle still is twice as powerful I wan't to find a two shot version of it.

I picked up a "Nocturnal Gauss rifle" that gets more powerful through the night up to 600 points plus of damage before dawn! This was on my first run through and was off a raider I killed (it was extremely hard!) near the scrapyard full of Super mutants on the southwest of the map.

"6000 caps" What? No, don't pay that much! Put on all your charisma gear (should be +2 or +3 for outfit, +1 for hat, +1 for glasses), drink a charisma drink and pop a grape mentats. It will reduce those high prices by around half. I think I paid about 6-7k for the Big Boy from Arturo using that setup, for a 13k weapon.

There's a glitch so you can get everything the code is: but don't purchase select all 308 rounds then sell them by 1x3 (111) then you should have 27 or 26 left now sell 19 then 1 the number will glitch too (3) continue selling until you see a plus on your side of your inventory caps (example +567) then go on the other side of the vendors and select not purchase more rounds(example -50974) keep doing this until you get an infinite number of caps then purchase all the items gratulations you just got the most powerful rare weapon in the game early cx

If you don't want to spend 7500 caps on 'The Last Minute (it's original price) you can upgrade your charisma to 10 and upgrade the Cap Colector perk as well lowering the price of the weapon down to 3750 caps. This takes some experience points, but while trying to get those you are collecting caps too.

Fully upgraded Sentinel's Plasmacaster + maxed out Rifleman perk kills pretty much everything in a couple of shots. Sentinel's Plasmacaster is sold by Proctor Teagan once you reach the rank of Sentinel that you gain by completing the story with Brotherhood of Steel

For that artifact gun if you save him he gives you a unlimited amount of a secret potion that gives you 50 points more of any damage along with immune to Rad's it's so OP!!!

the guns that "shoot a additional projectile" use 2 bullets it doesn't look like it since on the mag count it only goes down 1 round at a time but in your inventory it uses 2 rounds a shot

For the last minute gun I was collecting a bunch of prewar cash For a long time and storing it at sanctuary and I completely forgot about it when I came back to sanctuary I decided that I was going to move my base and by accident I found almost 700 prewar cash and then i used all of my giwnit bottles of different kinds and poped a grape mentans and sold some for the last minute

I got something better than overseers guardian imo, it dropped from a random enemy its a 10mm i gave it the best recoil control and automatic mods, its modifier is two shot (the same with overseers guardian) and named it "A Better Blaster"

you didn't mention the explosive combat shotgun I nabbed it off a legendary boat fly on the outskirts of where the ghouls are located by where the brother hood of steel were held up at the police station I moded the shotgun to its max power and it blows anything away including legendary declaws , sentry bots , basically any hardened threat even if you shoot around the ground the shells explode and cause a great amount of damage!

I got limitless gausse rifle from legendary mister gutsy in southern swamp area next to downed chopper where x-01 armor is just standing in the open, yet noons talks about that great weapon!!

+Peter Sosa ...because there isn't always a legendary mister gutsy, and the legendary weapon drop is random. It isn't in the game by default, it's generated by killing legendary critters.

at the sword you are dead wrong they were not raiders they were chem dealers if you help the chem dealer and convince trudy to pay up without violence you get both traders to trade with you and then you get to buy the sword anyways

Such a shame that the 'unique' weapons aren't really unique. The effects they have might be, but the weapons themselves just look like their normal counterparts, with only a few exceptions. Maybe we'll see a mod that aims to change this. Such a shame that Bethesda never make the most of their games and rely on the modding community to fix their hackjobs
