Little tip: gold bars are much more valuable in their bar form rather than scrapping them into individual gold components. You're better off selling them for caps.

In the last location, the X-01 power armour is generated depending on your character's level. Many low levels have been in there and looted a different type of power armour. I was level 60+ when I looted the place and I had a full set of X-01 there.

In my first play through I joined the Institute and as I went to open a door I accidentally stole like a plate or something a literally every single Synth and some doctors started shooting me.

Starting strong with Bridgeway Trust, nice. Prior to that you loot a bank robbery site in Lexington, a bit east of the Super Duper Mart. There's 100+ Pre-war Money in a duffle bag, plus more loose bundles on the ground and in the blasted vault. There's another smaller lockroom nearby building with an Advanced terminal that houses a safe for more loot. It's a good way to make money before you can hack into Bridgeway Trust. For Fallon's Department Store do be sure to check out the parking garage adjoining the building. That "fun house" is definitely worth checking out. It's a great source for certain materials like Copper, Steel, and Springs; similar to how Jamaica Plain offers a lot of crystal and fiber optics. Usually one of the Ghouls will be Legendary too.

The basement in Sanctuary is not bad when you are beginning and can easily be missed. It contains gold bars and other goodies - a great way to have money early to buy Chao blade or spray n' pay ;)

Actually there are two ways into the prudwin armory. You can either hack or pick the door. OR there's a random chance a knight captain will have the key on him. Just a tip.

I personally that the crashed plane in the glowing sea was very good due to the fact that it contains a gauss rifle and some other stuff. I got lucky and got two gauss rifles.

my best location, Gunners Plaza, coupled with the Fortune Finder and Scrounger perks + BOS Technical Documents. I go through it after it restocks, find usually 3000+ caps, 20 odd technical documents, hundreds of bullets of each type, it's just so good, sometimes in ammo boxes I even find fusion cores and mini nukes (love it when that happens)

for the Teagan room it also turns out that the stuff laying around you can grab (not pick up) and carry it to a far corner where no Prydwen people can see you. then you can pick it up and have it not count as stealing, or at least not make the whole ship go after you. found a youtube video of it and it worked. it allowed me to get the gauss rifle

I watched this video around a week ago, I went to the first location collected ALL the loot and came back today, I found EVERYTHING still in place, so everything respawns, not just the gold bars, even the stuff in the safes

for the department store with the button to open the book case. Theres a distress signal that you can follow which tells you to go to the jewelry department so the the person in it can be set free. However, that person is long dead and the super mutants are tough and many.

There are certain areas good for certain things as well. Want Gauss Rifles, some modded? Go to the downed airliner in the Glowing Sea. Shotgun Shells? Coast Guard base has a minimum of 80 plus other loot. Want a good mix of booze + chems? Shamrock Taphouse. Building material? Hardware Town. I'll note that at higher levels the ammo boxes usually spawn fusion cores about half the time for me. Either on the ground floor of the warehouse or high up on the shelves of it by walking across the boards. Only place that seems to happen that regularly.

+TwoDynamic On the pridwin, there is a better way to get inside, use fists, use vats target the guy behind the counter, activate to try and hit him but stop mid hit so you don't, and you will be behind the counter, still need to sneak to steal, but you don't need to lock pick.

with the BOS trader dude there's a way to glitch into the room, take your fists out (or melee weapon) and go into V.A.T.S. "attack" him but before you actually hit him exit V.A.T.S. and there if done right your in the room

in the prydwen armoury, You can use a melee weapons in vats to attack the proctor. Aso soon as you do, click cancel, And you will teleport into the room

On the prydwen you can also pick pocket someone to get the key to open the weapon storage that's what I did

For the prydwen when you first go in the ship there will be a captain and a knight talking, if you pickpocket the captain he has the armory keys

I think area around National Training Yard has more X01 power armor if you first time enter the area at level 28 and above. There's about 4 frames with what ever type power armor locked with your level when you load the area for first time, right behind the building has 2, 1 at military vehicle guarded by Mr Gutsy and lastly quit far away in front of Poseidon Energy Building guarded by proctectron that always fighting with super mutant nearby

Just one correction, the power armor is dependent on your level. I did the at level 7 and it weren't x-01 but a t-45 power armor. Just a fair warning for any one looking for x-01 Armor.

for the prydwen armory just target him in vats with your fist then cancel when your about to punch if you wanna get out WAIT for one of the bos soilders to pass by then do the same thing.

The room right next to diamond city has 2 easier ways, the jetpack for power armor, or using buffjet and the blue airvent to hop onto the roof

the first loot room i used for prewar money farm when i was waiting for nuka world

On the last one it doesn't always come with that armour it depends on ur lvl

if you go to the national guard training field around lvl 30 you should be able to find a suit of x-01 power Armour outside (full set for me) unless of course you already found the suit in the storage box out there

On the off chance no one else had mentioned it previously here, you dont even need to hack the terminal or pick the lock at all to gain access to the armory on the Prydwen A trick that I learnt from some youtube videos is to go into fats with no weapon equipped and target Proctor Tegan with VATS. Once you've selected him as a target to punch, start the VATS auto attack but before you fully throw a punch press Tab (or whatever your console button is to pull up the pip boy). This will stop the attack completely so you dont chip his health if you do it right and you will then appear inside of the armory. From there just maintain stealth as you loot the room however you can/choose. To get back out, theres an NPC that walks by the shop window every now and again so just wait a moment and do the same thing you did with VATS and canceling to escape PS, I might be wrong, but I think pulling up the pip boy mid animation from drinking any dirty water stops you from actually drinking it. Again I'm not 100% sure but its something I started doing after the first time it happened by accident to me and I want to believe its been sparing me unnecessary rad gains when trying to loot stuff thats fallen into water lol. Hope at least one of these tips helps you fellow wastelanders!

Cranberry Island supply shed contents do NOT respawn ever. Once you collect them that's your lot from this location. 'Coiffe' is not pronounced 'koyf', it is closer to 'kwaff'. Small tip - when you find a PA suit DO NOT walk away from it to explore the location further and return later as all of the armor plates may vanish and leave just a bare frame. Take the plates off as soon as you find it - there is usually a repair frame nearby to put them back on again once you are ready to take the suit. .

The sanctuary hills root cellar is pretty good for starting out.

For the Fallons safe theres a radio beacon near by where you hear a woman asking for help to open that safe which is more than likely the skeleton in that room

You can pickpocket the armory key off of someone in the prydwen close to it I think it was the Knight Captain

At the 5:29 , actually you can use cheat 'unlock' to opened it :)

Also you could use Nick Valentine and Cait to open the terminal and the safes

with proctor teagan ' s room, if you un equip all weapons, go into vats target Tegan, execute the attack, just before he punches Tegan back out of vats and it will teleport you into the room. no master hacker/lockpick required

go to the lonely chapel, inside you will find a door on the floor that goes to the federal ration bunker, it is full of aid materials, ammo, has a chest and a legendary raider.
