I was fresh out the vault on a new character I wanted to make a melee character and this was the second enemy I encountered out the vault.

That's a really bad hand you got dealt. If I saw that I'd be like "I'm taking a really LONG detour on my way to Concord." Like I'll approach Concord from the SOUTH.

That spawn point is at the south end of Concord.

Only thing worse is the stagger if your playing a melee build on 76 you need the mod to decrease stagger because you'll get stun locked really easily.

If you want bad luck, try a hardcore difficulty run.

@jaimekloth I get it, but it adds a level of oh sh!t when you can only save while sleeping. Can be a little on the frustrating side, tho if you aren't looking for bedrolls and beds regularly. For instance, I just had to repeat the same walk from Starlight Drive In to the Castle because I never saved at the castle before starting the Armory mission.
