Noticed this as well. The way he pronounces some vowels and his "s" and "th" somehow makes me like his covers even more. Dunno why, I find it unique.

I need to really focus to even hear the difference between those two as a non native speaker (vest being the Norwegian word for west might have something to do with it). Had the same with veil and whale 😅 however I do appreciate pointing it out as I like to get words as correctly as possible. Unless I of course shape the word differently on purpose to make it sound fuller/heavier or whatever. In the end unless it’s a real big “mistake” in the pronunciation I think it’s what creates that singers sound. I mean what would Metallica be without Hetfields versions of “say”, “me” and tons of others 🙃

As a fan of John Denver and "Country Roads" I'm a little disappointed............that I've never heard this version before. I could listen to this on repeat all day. Starting to piss off the family cranking it up over the surround sound system and letting it play over and over while I rock out in a drunken stupor. My new favorite song. Done to perfection. Subbed.

This is honestly the best cover and I like it better than the original. Something about how the notes rise in the "I belong" part of the chorus literally obligates me to sing along. It's extremely satisfying.

I loved this song may years before Fallout 76 and this is my favorite cover since the original. The strings and harmonies are fantastic, and it takes me back to my college days when every song and its brother was getting a punk cover. :D
