Following the events of "A Vault in Ruin", P.I. Walter Camry heads out west to find Bunny. But his trip is interrupted during his stay in DeadStone, Arizona, where a mysterious phantom is out for blood...

I have to admit, I didn't know where this would end up. Either turn out to be good with potential of getting better or suck, It didn't suck. I really liked it and hope you continue. Maybe somewhere down the line people will have created such series that we will never go with out a decent Fall-Out Machinima ever again..

I new it was the Sheriff, the only down side was the way he went out. They both should of drawn and Sheriff gets hit and before he breaths his last breath, maybe a brief monolog with his last final words. It was still one hell of a video.

This was pretty sweet man! I'd kept up with you guys on instagram, not sure if you guy would ever release it! But waiting was worth it, you guy nailed a lot of the a camera angles, voices fading as walking, and everything... I'm not just saying that due to being drunk on guennit stout either!

💘💘💘👍 Overall, this is staggering, but there's some dialogue related audio issues, some key conversations are a bit muddled, I can blame my old ears to some extent, but it's unlikely I'm unique in that. At this point, I'd immediately speed read the script if I could, just to clarify certain lines (about 10-12 unclear lines total,) but even better would be a remaster (fingers crossed.) Still, satisfying. And recommended.

Yeah, this machinima was actually banned from KZfaq due to some obscure soundtrack years ago that required a part at the end to be muted (which explains that). And this was also before I knew any experience audio editors, so we did the best we could LOL. I’m glad you liked it though. I grew up on Machinima and Rooster Teeth back in the day and always wanted to make one of these.

Why is there a weird edit/break at 45/46. It jumps to the conclusion and feels like dialogue is missing.

Sorry about that, friend. Way back, KZfaq forced me to mute it over some really obscure music track in the background. I had no contact with my collaborator anymore by that time to change it 🙁

I enjoyed that! Glad you retained the ambient sounds from the radio plays. In addition, DeadStone is very visually atmospheric too. Was the writing process effected by choosing a video format?

I'm glad you liked the the town. I had to create DeadStone, all characters including people that don't really do anything, and pretty much EVERYTHING you see from scratch. Including The Church Of Atom.

It must be frustrating to spend hours on all those details and side characters for them to receive only a few minutes or even seconds of screen time. All worth it though! The lettering on the buildings in the final showdown seemed to be emphasised, good visual impact! Looking forward to see how Atomic Wolf takes the narrative and how PB&J Productions responds visually...is that how your collaboration works?

I liked it a lot. I only had a minor issue with the mic quality of some of the character, it could be better. But otherwise good work! :)

Ullis Volin Thanks man, what really separates this from the radio shows in which this is based off of, we didn't use that old-fashioned grain and radio filter to bring all of the separate mic qualities together for this. That was kind of biting me too.

Ummm....appreciate the effort, but the main voice-over mimicry of Bogart/Cagney was....attrocious. Sorry, but it could've been done without the over-the-top voice acting. Otherwise, ok for a machinima.

Haha I understand where you come from: this was a much earlier project and everyone behind it (including me) was much less weathered. It’s the first visual adaptation of my long-standing Fallout radio series, which is why the voices are so specific like that. I’m glad you liked it though.

yw. Between DBZ Abridged, Skyrim lore, Fallout Nuka Break/Lone Wanderer, and other creative adaptations of gameplay or anime series', I find myself reliving decades of memories, thoughts of strategem, anticipation of storylines to come, ect. Where comic books and pinball, D&D and Pitfall were my escape. Keep plugging away nonetheless.
