If you have read fallout equestria, you will recognize some scenes from the story.
If you haven't: YOU WILL BE CONFUSED! just a warning
3-ish years ago: when Minecraft music videos were popular: I saw a video called Moonquest by Yogscast. I really liked it, but completely forgot about it. About a year ago: I came across fallout equestria. A great story linking fallout and mlp. I saw that both story's were about one living deep underground and coming to the surface to "see wonders", I decided to animate it.
When I started this eight months ago I really liked fallout but was not sure about the pony part. I am still a complete novice on my knowledge of the original mlp. That means I am not a brony. Right?
But they are fun to animate regardless.
The lyrics don't match the video itself (I am not a good singer). I had to extend the song because it is hard to fit a 45 chapter story into a short amount of time.
I know there is a lot more to say about this video.
For the SFM animators: lots of the ponies are "$basetexture"d on their body's and hair. (Alicorns, citizens, power armor, bloodstains, etc)
most maps are made from scratch. in the megadesert map
Some Easter eggs to find in the video:
All 9 team fortress 2 classes as ponies (obviously)
3 doctor who/whooves refrences (one I made too dark. sorry)
Deacon from fallout 4 (as a pony)
There are other small Easter eggs also
Do not make a huge deal about it.

This has to be THE oddest crossover of media I have ever seen. The animation of a crossover fanfic between Mlp and Fallout crossovered with a song based on a modded minecraft series made by the Yogscast. I'm loving it.

The amount of time it had to take animating all those different scenes from the fanfic to summarize the whole of Fallout: Equestria in to just about 6 minutes is just amazingly skillful.

WHY CAN'T I GIVE THIS VIDEO MORE LIKES?! THIS WAS AMAZING!!! Seriously, the choice of music, though I thought it would just be kind of silly, works waaaaay too well for this. Coupled with the lovely animation and seriously nostalgic summary of the entire book, I must say: Bravo sir, bravo!

Kkat herself mhm? Well then... I wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart. Fallout Equestria carried me on one of the most fantastic adventures of my life. I remember refusing to go to sleep so I could keep reading on my tiny ipod touch screen in my room and being tired at school the next day but... being all so glad. Y'know, your story is the first piece of literature I ever read that actually made me cry. I don't know how you did it exactly, but you did it well. I felt so strongly for the characters too just... I'm gonna stop now because I could go on and on about how amazing it was to read. Thank you.

I SO wish i had come across this sooner. and i'm sorry I didn't. its been hard keeping up the last few years cause of irl issues, but i'm glad someone linked to this on a twitter thread about great pony videos. this video is amazing. there is SO MUCH potential here. so many great ideas and unique interpretations. even a few things I had thought of myself for when i get around to doing more videos. yet every scene was easily recognizable. (at least to me. i've read this story so many times) i can tell you put alot of work into this, alot of thought into scenes. there is a roughness to it, but i can see the passion there. lots of little details. some cool stuff with the program. i especially liked what you did with the "goddess", making it look like a swarm. so many other things too. incredible job. kudos to you.

Продолжаю ахреневать как мало это набрало просмотров, ведь практически вся история кобылки из стойла была выражена в этом видео. От первой встречи и до битвы с Анклавом. Чуть ли не до слёз порой пробивало, когда в голове вновь вспыхивали моменты пережитые в этом произведении. It's been awhile since I read it (I need to read both it and PH again), but this was fucking beautiful!! I forget the gryphons' names (some of them), but I recognized almost every single scene. Love the song choice, and I love the character models!! I didn't know there was a model for Xenith. I've seen the models for Little Pip, Deadshot Calamity, and Velvet.....even Steelhooves, but not Xenith.

I am impressed. I recognized every scene of the video from my reading of the original Kkatt story. Amazing. As a 'highlight reel', you hit the 10 ring repeatedly. My favorite scenes from best fanfic that was ever created inn great video with fantastic music:D There are only 2 missing : fight with super alicorn (from crater Filydelphia) and metting with goddess. Hey... that's pretty good I recently reread the whole fanfic, so I can tell how accurate it is. It mostly is, obviously there are some slight variations from what people imagine, but that can always be expected. Especially when you compact a story as large as Fallout Equestria info about 6 minutes. Overall, great job. Everyone who worked on this should be proud of themselves. And if you actually did this by yourself, holy shit mate... that's incredible

wow, this is just amazing im a "fallout equestrian" not much into the Brony side i guess, but this is the type of work i love seeing and on top of it you are one of the few that has actually made scenes from the book and not a made up side story

and on top of it you off all "ponies" did something that all other animators are afraid of, you put in "spoilers" not for me but for others, ive read the complete story at least 3 times and ive wished to see people make animations about other parts of the book and not just the same intro of littlepip leaving the stable. i would hug you if i could maybe even love you..... sorry just got wierd.... but still best fallout animation ive seen so far

This is amazing. It's a shame that we couldn't get a full animated series of FoE, but even if a team talented and dedicated enough to do the whole thing could be found, it would take years and Hasbro would shut it down long before it was complete.

Whole Heartedly AWESOME! Despite have read the story, I was still just a little bit confused. Maybe I'm just miss-remembering the order of things. But, holy hell, with so many settings made and chapters being dramatized by Coyotecyb, I'm sure it can all be animated some day.
