I've always found one of the most intriguing mysteries is whether Vault Tec still exists as an organization or if they were annihilated as well. None of the vaults you visit in-game report any communications coming from HQ, and Vault 111's backstory involves everyone waiting for an "All Clear" signal that never came. Like, the universe really wants you to believe that Vault Tec is gone too, and the vaults are basically "zombies" running on autopilot, sending each experiment's results to a dead recipient. However, I believe Vault Tec is alive and well. If their Vault Dwellers survived for 200 years, then it would be absurd to think Vault Tec doesn't have their real HQ inside a mysterious vault nobody has ever heard of, and is remaining silent because none of the participants or scientists in the experiments are meant to survive, and they can further experiment with how Overseers react when they lose contact with Vault Tec.

The show is canon fo the games. Irs not adapting one of the main fallout games so it’s gonna take place on the side or set between the games.

This will take place somewhere near new Vegas and fallout 3 and will have a multitude of references of other games. It’s canon and it’s been rumoured to have moments in the show talk about outcomes in the games like the brotherhood in Washington, project purity, megaton, the curior, etc.

I had no idea before this trailer that it is in New California area which is huge because that was FO 1 and 2 area and in universe this should be around 9 years after FO4. Also let's be honest BoS is not going into NCR with this much manpower for talking.

@@ryanhampson673 The BoS started up in California, then got booted out by the NCR sometime between Fallout 2 and New Vegas. If this show is being considered canon, then the NCR has likely collapsed after spreading itself too far out too fast. Whatever reason we get for the BoS returning to California, I hope it stands up to scrutiny.

To answer the original question, I personally don't know what else he's done because he's from Britain, but I do know that he's in the TV show "What We Do in the Shadows" which is what the person you responded to was referencing. It's fairly popular. From what I've seen, Matt Berry's actually a pretty damn good actor, has good comedic timing as well. And his voice is naturally perfect for a Mr. Handy robot; it actually sounds like that, he's not putting it on.

*FALLOUT history:* it's an *alternate* history, around 1950 things diverged from our world, microelectronics weren't discovered until about a century later, instead they developed much better nuclear tech but mostly that went into useful civilian stuff like robots and nuke powered cars. The lack of efficient microelectronics though made resource use inefficient and resource wars broke out in Europe vs the Middle East they got wrecked around 2030s as oil etc began to run out. China and America got into a war over resources, China invaded Alaska for oil, America annexed Canada by force. The secretive elite behind America, the "Enclave", got more and more malignant and decided they needed to escape the world entirely to colonize Mars or other stars. A plan to create vast bunkers to protect the populace got taken over and abused, Vault-Tec, 90% of the Vaults were designed to do unethical experiments not save people, and never enough to save anything but a tiny percentage. The Enclave bagn horrific experiments with bioweapons on US citizens and bioweapons at a secret facility under Hoover Damn, Chinese found out, tried to infiltrate but screwed up, a plague got out, government used that as excuse to control populace even more and research from that developed a virus to create "super soldiers" immune to radiation etc The FEV Virus mutated creatures, the "super soldiers" while they lost intelligence which was ok with the Enclave also got anti-Human, then a mutiny by US soldiers who discovered the horrible experiments started the "Brotherhood of Steel". No one is sure who started the nukes but in a few hours, America and China were annihilated.. Hope that helps :)

Won't necessarily be the case with Fallout, because all the episodes are dropping at once, but if you're reacting to shows, particularly ones as they're being released, it will almost definitely keep people coming back each week. My usual routine for shows I enjoy (like Shogun at the moment) is watch the episode and then go look for people's reactions for it right after

The reason why the vaults were build is because the world used up most of their raw material, they try to slow the consumption down by using nuclear power. When they found oil and metal beneath the north pole the US and communist China wanted it both for them self. With this a war was start on the north pole, with this the public got scared for their safety because of the nuclear threat. The government instructed Vault Tec to build vaults for the public.

Its about alternative history when in 50´s humanity shifted to nuclear energy and continued with vaccume tube technology instead of microchips, thats why that retro-futuristic look of things. Fallout franchise/universe, is post-apocalyptic depresive world with really dark humor.

Please revisit Fallout 76. After adding the NPCs and all the expansions Fallout 76 is my current favorite. Hope the new power armors and other armor and weapons they Introduced in 76 get to be in the next game.

I'm really curious 😀 if the Ncr is in shambles in the west,then yea,I imagine that the canon ending for New Vegas would be Ncr losing Hoover Dam,or maybe they won and then got attacked by the Bos. if you dont explore in the fallout games you miss allot of lore in it, i never go straight for the main quests and walk around to scavenge for weapons and loot/cash. the only fallout game up till 3 and beyond i finished is 3 and that was AFTER i tried to run around and level up and help other cities survive

Fallout New Vegas is hands down the best storyline progression. About 90+ percent of the fans of the series will agree with this. It’s a bit dated graphics wise but in the amount of story and how it progresses, nothing has come close to date.

To be fair I'm not Fallout fan. I only played Fallout 3 few years ago, just because I couldn't back in the days when it released because it had poor optimization back then. And I couldn't play it, so I tried it now and... well, I only played it for a few days, got stuck, got bored, tired of it really quickly just because I had no idea what game wants from me and just deleted it from my hard drive. Sure, I'm aware of other Fallout games but, I'm not a fan of strategy games, which is what Fallout 1 and 2 is, and other Fallout games after 3 is... well, they look to me the same as Fallout 3. Sure, I like open world games, with big world to explore and interesting story, but I also like to have clear knowledge of my goas in the game and ways to reach them. And that is what Fallout 3 were lacking for me. Thus why I stopped right there and never wanted to touch it again. The trailer tho looks interesting. But, knowing the modern entertainment industry I got a bad feeling feeling about it.

FO3 was about finding your father, and the things you do along the way. FO4 was about finding your kidnapped infant son, and again, what you did along the way. New Vegas had the most different story, since your character is amnesiac.

@@richardyoung3462 That is not what I meant. I was talking about the objectives in the game and not the plot. Like, you take the quest in the game and what's next? I had this many times when I take the quest from some NPC in the game, and game does not tell me where I should go and what I should do. No objectives, no markers, nothing. So how am I supposed to know where to go and what to do if I didn't played the game before? You may say "watch the guides on youtube" then there is another problem, if I had to watch it on youtube then why should I play it in the first place? I might just watch the whole thing on youtube and never bother about it. And that is my main problem with Fallout 3. It gives you a quest but doesn't tell you where to go and doesn't show you the objective on the map most of the time.

@@deathcold_longplaysua4846 You use the information in the quest tracking section of your Pip Boy (the wrist computer on your arm). The mission tracker puts a highlight on your compass for a guide to direction to travel. And the description of what you need to do is usually in that mission listing. A limiting factor of the technology is that it only tracks one mission at a time. That should have all been covered in the beginning of the game when you grow up inside the vault, before you go outside.

@@deathcold_longplaysua4846jajajaja. I dont think you even tried to play the game. The pipboy (your main interface) has a tab called Data. Click on it and the first option is called quest, you get a brief resume of what you have to do and in the options below it says in big letters "track quest". You get a marker on your minimap and compass

@@richardyoung3462 New Vegas's MC (Courier) isn't amnesiac as was pointed out by one of NV's devs (don't remember by whom, unfortunately).
