As a casual fan of Bethesda's take on Fallout I found it enjoyable. The character journeys and overarching story had room to breath. Things other show runners would be tempted to do - make it gritty like redesigning the Brotherhood power armour to look like spec ops, having violence punctuate every scene, sweaty bonking every other episode - didn't happen. They use some of it, but in the context of the scene. It's a fun adventure in the Fallout world, they did well.

This Guy gets too much hate. Sure, numerous instances of hyperbole, F4, F76, and the overselling of Skyrim were mistakes, but compared to the amazing things they've accomplished... He actually deserves some respect in my book.

People are already a bit too hard on him (I've criticized him myself tbh) so I can see why he made sure they got everything right. And you can see he's satisfied with the work the crew have done on the series. Thank you for not giving us a show like Halo Todd Howard, and a bigger thanks to Jonathan Nolan and everyone involved in the Fallout TV series.

Yup, I agree. I actually the comedic slow mo fights, and shooting to be really awesome. Kind of an homage to the fact VATS exists, so it's kinda like a VATS but movie style. I think I'm ready to watch it a 2nd time.

He’s right! There is absolutely nothing like Fallout. It has this goofy lighthearted vibe in everything it does from comedy to the horror the violence. It can become super scary and gruesome but there is always this silly vibe to it. The universe doesn’t take itself too serious.

They launched it into the mainstream with Fallout 3. Old school fans hated it, but the cultural reference point of Fallout is Bethesda's take on Fallout. So in a sense they created the Fallout most gamers think of today.

Todd's been receiving alot of hate for years notably from the OG Fallout fans because boohoo it's not like the first Fallout blabla. Yall gotta understand that each decision for each game doesn't solely rest on him and many times it's from the higher ups that we never see or know about or are done as a collective. I will say if you've seen some of the slight spoilers it is heartbreaking but remember, the NCR has 5 city states, there was a confirmation by Todd that the NCR is still around,just imagine they pulled out of the region.
