@@lunaticgaming7967Amen! That's exactly the case. this shows the viewer that there is far more to the Ghoul, and more of Cooper in there, than he (the character) would like us to know. It was such a merciful action to make him go with a weet memory in his mind, his humanity and lucidity just for a moment in-tact.

Dogmeat is actually named after the dog of the same name from the 1975 post-apocalyptic film, that was a huge inspiration for Wasteland and Fallout, A Boy and His Dog.

In Fallout 76 the "Healing Factor Serum" is a similar green color and grants the Healing Factor mutation. Thaddeus could very well become some kind of super mutant as opposed to a ghoul.

Super Mutants are caused by FEV Virus, im not saying that couldn't happen (hell i think its actually what is happening), just that it wouldn't be the serum

Super Mutants are made after being exposed to the F.E.V. and the gruesome process that it involves. Imagine the worst flu symptoms you can imagine, that progressively worsen until you either die or mutate. Poor Thaddeus would have to go through some serious hell for this comedic relief ;-; and can super mutants even evolve from ghouls?? I’ve never even thought about that

@1:00:42 It says that is the price for Coolant... as in coolant for the newer nuclear powered vehicles. (That is why they explode when shot too much)

Just so you know 1:00:50 that is not gas, it's coolant. Cars were nuclear powered not gas powered. The coolant was required to not keep the vehicles ' safety switch from permanently locking up the engine and depowering the cell.

I'm still of the mind that the quack doc was actually selling serums like what can be bought in 76. One of those serums is a healing factor serum which instantly replenishes health once combat is over. Which is exactly what happened to Thad. The trap was a combat situation. After it triggered he was out of combat and could heal to full health barring rads. Just my 2 cents

maximus hidden in the fridge could be a reference to a quest of a child ghoul named billy being found locked in a fridge in fallout 4 where you save him and have a choice to bring him back to his parents or sell him to a gunner

the gun the ghoul uses is a modified MTS-225, its a russian shotgun revolver, and in this case, has been cut WAAAAAY down. Also, Mr. Handy robots are made by General Atomics. (I've found an easy way to remember the difference is if the name has "tron" in it, its a Rob Co. product, otherwise, it's General Atomics. (With exceptions being things like Liberator drones (as they were made by the chinese military, or Liberty Prime, where it was a MASSIVE collaboration between multiple companies)

At the end of the first episode you can see radaway draining into the ghouls coffin! It's safe to assume radaway is also the chem the ghoul is huffing to keep from going feral

Hey Jess, I wanna take a moment to say DO NOT apologize, and please take your time to mourn and work through things. Obviously idk what you're going through but I have gone through some hard things and I have become the complete opposite of who I used to be and its taken me about 6 years to get through that because I shoved my emotions aside for work. I know people will be mad at you because that's the world we live in but certain people will understand who have gone through things too. I don't want to ramble but I have literally become the darkest timeline version of myself from pushing things. I've hit beyond rock bottom from suprresed emotions and not dealing with things doesn't help at all. I love your content on this channel but I also understand if it takes you longer to get a video out or even if you take a break to go through things

5:40 That specific rule is AFAIK actually an urban myth created by Fallout fans that has now made it into canon. It doesn't really fit, though, as it makes nukes seem more dangerous than they are, and those rules were intended to calm down.

Cleverest writing choices IMO: Thaddeus describing a “Lord of the Flies” situation while also being given a very Fallout flavored backstory of being a sh!tter Barbara Cooper *selling* the Vault-Tec product to the industrialists by affirming nuclear exchange is fatalistically inevitable while *never* divulging any Vault Tec premeditated intentions to actually throw the initial bomb

I think it’d be a super interesting idea if cooper “the ghoul” was actually the mysterious stranger that has been on a mission to go after vault tech, house, and the other company heads that initiated the bombings but along his way to get justice he “looses” his humanity (no pun intended). I know lore wise it couldn’t really happen but definitely an interesting story idea!

Am I the only one that thinks Maximus is going to be Coopers grandkid? Cooper seems to have a very similar story to protagonist of Fallout 4, and having Maximus be his grandkid kind of fulfils the Shawn narrative for cooper.
