I love this game. Been playing it for ages. A few tips. One: food and water are vital for the dwellers, but power is what keeps those resources going. Never run out of power. Two: Take advantage of the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. traits. Place dwellers carefully. Three: Dwellers without good Strength, Perception, or Agility traits but with decent Charisma traits can be put into living quarters to boost their happiness, and the overall happiness. Four: the better overall happiness, the better. Five: upgrade the Door to delay raiders and deathclaws so you can prepare for them. Six: during an incident, be it fire, radroaches, or even deathclaws, and movement of dwellers from one room to another will be reset, so don't worry about moving people around during that, because the dwellers will return to where they need to after the incident passes. Seven: complete those missions. You can get caps and lunchboxes faster through hose and massively boost your vault.

Going to the Vault menu you can see all of your objectives in some of them give you a vault-tec lunchbox which has a lot of awesome stuff

You can build a lot of living quaters to get more vault dwellers in to unlock more rooms but you need a lot of electricity and food and water rooms too to keep everything going

The greater the total of the SPECIAL in the room, the faster the room finishes a process cycle. The amount of resources gathered depends on the level of the room. Rooms can also be combined, up to a total of three. Each combined room makes the room produce and store more, with a synergy bonus. It also allows to more workers. The synergy bonus is the greatest at two space rooms, but three size rooms allows six dwellers, which means the less efficient rooms have much faster turnover. The game *does* keep track of family trees, though you can't see them, and direct family remembers cannot have kids together. It doesn't matter what the parent's stats are, children stats almost always start very low. Workers in a Storage Room do nothing, but it is a place to keep dwellers safe when you don't need them for anything else.

you can double click a room to hear the dwellers talking and you can upgrade the rooms if you click the up arrow then upgrade it if you have enough caps

I failed at fallout shelter so many times, but with my new vault (113) the future is very bright, I got Old Longfellow Npcfrom a lunchbox as well

Luck lowers the chance of the room getting on fire and radroach infestations

I don't understand why people struggle so much with this game. I had a 128 people vault and I stopped playing because it bored me!

The first time I made a vault everybody was just depressed and a lot of them died to radroaches and this man creates a better vault with ease😭

I love this and the other Fallout games so much!!! I wish we had Fallout emojis! As a matter of fact, I just finished playing it for about three or four hours tonight. This guy is doing well but he really needs to assign someone to guard the door with the mini gun he got as a prize from opening the Lunch Box he won. But I'm sure he's taken care of it in the meantime since this is only the first episode! That's a serious weapon and will go a long way to guarding the vault! I think everyone should invest in ten or fifteen lunch boxes and buy a Mr. Handy for each floor because he does everything from working and collecting power, food and water but he also helps fight against unwelcomed guests and fights fires!!! Every vault needs a good supply of Mr. Handy's!!!! Especially if weapon supplies are low!!! I allow myself an Entertainment Budget each month to spend on the games I already have or on new games, the same way I used to allow myself to spend up to a certain amount at the arcade back in the 80s and 90s when they were still around. Thanks for reading my rambling comment!! 😎

i played it in my phone for almost 2 years maybe 3 already have 6 or 7 legendary dwellers ( 2 of them are the same character) and many Mr.Handy and also 200 dwellers, now i still leveling up all of them and training them until all of them are lv 50 ( max). my vault number is 911 btw and i got a legendary dweller by the first time i opened the lunchbox. Such a great game for phone.

did u know on my playthrough of fallout shelter i got a laser minigun on my 2 lunch box? and i got X01 power armor on my 4th lunch box i was really happywhen i got those two items now i never go exploring with em cause they make the charictor i send out a god.so its really handy

This is like fallout 76 on a phone Pc in this case but the game feels like a phone game so it counts

I like to use the app called "pimp my vault" because if you have fallout shelter you can change a dwellers stats, change your number of caps, stimpacks, and radaways. you can also remove all rocks, add new dwellers and special dwellers. but the sad part is that you cant add gear or lunch boxes. but you can add unlimited food, water, and energy.

On my first long vault anyone who came to the vault from the outside I gave them a new last name so I wouldn't be like 'Your last names are Newton so you must be related!' when they weren't. The guy with a 5 in strength everyone gets was now George Apple.
