This was an interesting take. Again, I really like your short but detailed reviews of movies and shows. You waste no time and get down to business. Saying it's not worth watching is a very bold statement. I know nothing about the game. I'm just a lover of sci-fi adventures, and also Walton Goggins. I'm usually not big on gory violence. However, this world was so immersive and expansive, and the plot was well paced with fantastic VFX and OST, I don't see how one would find time wasted watching this show. I've never seen a show like this one. My only complaints were the random cult-nudity stuff in Episode 6, and then I felt Aaron Moten (thought it was Jon Majors at first glance) was miscast/a weaker actor compared to everyone else. I don't know who else I would've liked seeing in the role, though. I really liked his storyline, but the actor felt cheesy compared to everyone else. I also liked the suit armor. It felt bulky and mechanical, never once felt cheap - gave me Iron Man 1 vibes before MCU resorted to cheap looking CGI suits. And I definitely disagree with your take on Goggins as Ghoul/Cooper. He has one of the most epic villain intros ever, and his showdown at the market was so much wicked fun. He's a real menacing presence throughout the show. Overall, I'm very excited to see the next season as this was a great hook for me. Lots of mysterious story to dive more into, and more arcs to see finished out!

when i was asked by a buddy that never played the games how i (who dumped years of my life into all the games) liked the show i summed it up with: "Like early Marvel movies. visually stunning. YOU will enjoy the ride. A fan of the games will only, if he shuts his brain off. For if you take the time to think about what you just whitnessed, than it falls apart like a lepper on the rollercoaster. They did everyone dirty compared to the game lore."

The power armor felt klunky and cheap because maximus was handling it. He has never handled such a suit before. Imagine getting a new weapon in a game, ofcourse you will be shit with it in the beginning. That's what the makers of the show wanted to project. It's actually mindblowing how close the show felt to the actual fallout games. By making characters goofy and weird, they are just really tying in to the fallout vibe. This show actually does something, that almost no other adaptation has done, create the vibe of what it's adapting. The show is perfect. Your opinion is one I respect, but L take man.

Sry for the spoiler but only 3 things that bugged me out were destruction of shady sands (which hopefully gets ironed out in season 2), the ghouls taking medicine to avoid becoming feral and the power armor going legit iron man mode. But overall im happy that it turned out pretty good with ambience, storytelling, characters music, vibe. Its got the fallout feel. Overall i think it turned out far better than the shitshow of halo

Well, this is Media Madness. It's kinda surprising that you would say to a viewer that taking the time to watch Fallout would be a waste of time....that is CRAZY. Which also confuses me because I feel like this could be a trolling video. I have no idea tbh. Very interesting way to build a channel I guess, but to each their own. I love the series and it not only has a really good season 1 conclusion, it also sets up future seasons really well and even games for that matter. Lucy and The Ghoul are the stars of this show as they have a wonderful back and forth with Lucy being the naieve vault dweller and The Ghoul being the hardened wastelander and I'm exicted to see where this future friendship goes. Maximus is also a very interesting character. His reactions to his surroundings are so good and the finale sets him up to be a character that could be anything: good guy, bad guy, who knows. Also, the dog survived the first season, that is a win in itself. To put it in perspective, my mother is 56 years old and she just finished watching it this past week and loved it. Knowing nothing of the games, that is a testament to how good the show is.

This is the most circular video I've ever seen... First you say its good, then its bad, then "its not a bad show" but then you don't recommend watching it... Like dude you're literally just making this for bait.

Honestly, your conclusion really doesn't make sense. With all the positives you led with, that alone should be enough to "waste" time on the show. It's not perfect, to be sure, but compared to most of the dreck produced these days, it's pretty darn good. The world building is fantastic. The show is enjoyable even for non-gamers. My wife hasn't played the games at all and enjoyed, for example.

Your show evaluation is a huge disappointment. I played very little of fallout 4 like less than 5hrs. Knew very little about the back story etc... Not a universe fan boy is the point. Watched the show and enjoyed every second of it. Will be watching it again worth every second spent. Each to their own I guess.
