I was 10 and chronically online when this came out. I loved Happy Tree Friends (weird, but true, I understood what it was trying to do), it was second to Homestar Runner at the time as one of my favorite internet things, and me and my brother lost our SHIT when we saw this music video on MuchMusic (this is Alberta, Canada, circa 2007). It was like seeing our computer’s search history on TV. I immediately called up my friend halfway through and said “TUNE INTO MUCHMUSIC! FALL OUT BOY DID A VIDEO WITH HAPPY TREE FRIENDS!” And he was like “What? You’re joking.” So, still on the phone, he tunes in and says “HOLY CRAP! THAT’S LUMPY!” Our minds were blown. Then Pork and Beans by Weezer came out the next year and the three of us lost our collective shit again.

This series is so memorable for its graphicness. You'd think that if this was an actual kids show, someone might make a creepypasta about a violent lost episode. But in this case, this IS that creepypasta. And that's what I love about it.
