@@heidih3048 lol okay now it makes sense , I’m a RGN too and yes here doctor will visit the care home on the same day and also if it’s a night shift we call out out of hours doctors, not sure what they do in America and other places

Very realistic scenario, I was an EN one upon a time, this type of incidents are bad for the residents and stressful for staff as well ...

the remote calling thing should be with the patient at all times to prevent stuff like that

Is the facility not going to accept responsibility for the patient being unable to reach his call button? That's the reason he fell in the first place.
