Falooda Saviyan Recipe By Delicious Storm How to Make Falooda Saviyan at Home
Falooda Seviyan (Falooda noodles):
1/2 cup cornflour (or arrowroot flour)
2 cups water
Ice-cold water for setting
For Assembling the Falo
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup prepared falooda seviyan
Instructions:
Making Falooda Seviyan:
Prepare the Mixture:
In a saucepan, mix 1/2 cup cornflour with 2 cups of water. Stir well to avoid lumps.
Cook this mixture on medium heat, stirring continuously until it becomes thick and transparent. This should take about 7-10 minutes.
Forming the Seviyan:
Fill a large bowl with ice-cold water and set it aside.
Once the mixture is ready, immediately pour it into a sev maker or a clean cloth with a small hole (acting as a makeshift piping bag).
Press the mixture through the sev maker or the cloth into the ice-cold water to form thin strands.
Let the seviyan set in the cold water for 5-10 minutes.
Drain the water and transfer the seviyan to another bowl of cold water to ensure they do not stick together.
