i liked and didnt like this movie. i hated how the actual Fame song wasnt anywhere in the movie other then the credits. it was disappointing. however, i LOVED this character. she could come off as stuck up and cocky, but actually she was just very confident. she knew what she wanted, and she didnt let anything get in the way. and despite her seemingly arrogant character, she was one of the only ones who actually made it towards her goal.

+Benkoolest Alice had to choose between her dream of becoming a great star or staying and graduating with her boyfriend then wait to get her chance at stardom. She chose the latter and told her boyfriend all relationships come to an end and her hard work and her parents financially supporting her paid off. If Alice didn't get her break then her parents probably would've stopped paying for her lessons and told her to try another profession and give up dance.

Haven't watched the remake. Now interested in it. Just from the Black and Gold video, it's clear it's a different movie built on the same premise - kids taking performing arts classes. Better than re-doing the old plot lines.

Oh i say.....and to think I only came on to this as I couldn't wait the 19 secs to sit through an ad on Sam's Official Vid! Very nice, saucy. Had to laugh, as a knackered,, menopausal, creaking 55yr old, what I wouldn't give to be able to move like that! My joints were killing me as I watched! Still love this track and really love this choregraphy!

Its actually easier to dance in heels believe it or not lol A lot of keeping your balance comes from staying on your toes 2" heels are the best to work with, any higher takes a hella lot more practice :)

its actually characters shoes *dance shoes** with heels that are easy to dance in. and their short too n a lil stubby so its not hard, im sure if a 8 year old can for a performance im sure you can...they also come in different styles
