I kinda like thinking of it this way: With all the singing they've done, yes its because they've been stealing talent but they could essentially be learning without realizing. The first explanation of them not being able to sing would be because their tone deaf but that isn't exactly the case. Being tone deaf doesn't just apply to music, that would also make them deaf to the tone of when someone is conveying their emotions while speaking, which doesnt apply to them(atleast i dont think so). Back to what I was originally talking about, I'd say veneer would have a higher chance of this happening because during their last performance, when he ran out of troll before his sister, he still kept singing. (please correct me if im wrong cause I haven't watched the movie and only clips of it but I'll watch it when I can to confirm my thoughts)

Y’all I have a theory that veneer can sing without trolls because when he sing his eyes don’t turn red but velvets did and their eyes only turn red when there using the trolls talent which means that veneer always knew how to sing and because he’s not using the trolls now it doesn’t effect him but when he’s using the trolls his eyes do in fact turn red or purple or whatever so he’s been lying to velvet all along because in the movie he appears to be “bad at singing” but in fact with all this information and evidence he can so I feel like maybe he can end up betraying velvet in the next movie if there included in it like getting out of jail so if veneer does end up betraying her he can ether team up with the trolls or go and try to be a villain again but on his own and if he becomes a solo villain velvet could ether join the trolls and try and stop him from becoming pure evil or she could become jealous and try and redeem herself and they become rival villains and the trolls have to stop them both but if veneer joins the trolls then velvet could again redeem herself as a better villain in a way then veneer and the trolls would have to take her down. Just a movie idea

MY theory of how they got the stolen talents back without the use of trolls: I think they absorbed alot of talent from the trolls that in the point were they gotten the stolen talents permanently because in the video it looks like their eyes and throats are glowing so maybe they gotten the trolls talents permanently and maybe use it for fame (I think i might have hinted that their might be a new movie about veneer and velvet getting out of prison and obtained the trolls talents permanently for maybe stealing a huge amount of talents from the trolls and the trolls tries to stop them and stop them from using their talents) IT'S GUESS THAT THEIR MIGHT BE A MOVIE FOR THIS
