Phenomenally Gifted Dancer w Raw Talent and Sacred Fire!! 0ur companies were scheduled to meet in Philly under special invite of Authur Hall of Ile Ife. Id heard of him "Disrespecting His Gift w fights in nightclubs and passing out from binges and binders from "substances" and then being fired from FAME eventually.. He worked to snag the lead in the film and tv series and let demons in his head and negative influences around break him!!! Any Bad Habit or Influence troubling him I wanted to tell him to TAKE IT TO THE MASTERS OF MOVEMENT .THE TRINITY.. A.A.A. Authur Hall of Authur Halls Afro American Dance Ensemble Alvin Ailey of Alvin Ailey Dance Theater and Authur Mitchell of The Dance Theater of Harlem .ANYTHING he was going thru They could have walked him thru and maybe helped save his life. Its the obligation of the Elders to Mentor and advise and the Younger to listen and apply what is being offered.!! @@ronross3410 Hollywood not the dance world destroyed him. That instant "can't do no wrong" game, the big money and it's so fast and frivolous. It strokes the ego, inflates it then kicks you in the teeth so you can't smile. Theater is more stable, more humble and more a rite. RIP sweet child of God. Not really. This was all carefully choreographed and scripted. Something that they decided beforehand. And it has nothing to do with "race" or ethnicity.

Absolutely! They were both incredible. But as a kid, I loved the drama of the duel, and I was secretly cheering for Debbie Allen. ;-) Still, the talent they both had was astonishing.

I’d agree with you till the first dance. From the second dance they went went even. Actually the third dance when the dance together the other dancer nailed it. The are even ❤

i feel like with the bombastic nature of the choreography the more refined interpretation worked better. there was a BAM on every big noise--the dancers didn't need to sell it so hard. i also like the way she had a more fluid connection between the steps. that being said, debbie was burning like a shooting star

@@spackar2720 I loved her in Flashdance and Dirty Dancing but to me there is a category of star dancers - in which I include Debbie, Chita, Donna, Ann Reinken and Gwen Verdon and perhaps a few more - that is way higher than all the others.

Debbie came correct, she didn't play. Donna was graceful and on point.
