Shout out to Margot’s skating double Heidi Munger!
@NomadicVegan3 жыл бұрын
I was wondering who it could have been, as even among the top world-class skaters in ladies' figure skating there are very few who can land a triple axel. I just looked it up, and apparently Heidi did a double axel and they computer generated a third rotation.

The fact they can digitally add an audience and change your face makes me further question just how much of this is used in everyday media, news, talk shows or whatever
@ashddd3 жыл бұрын
They don’t have the budget or time for those to be superimposed on everyday TV, and editors that are capable of doing it likely work on films - if they have to “fake” an audience for TV they’ll just use clever angles Or pay people to sit in the audience

@@ashddd On music shows in Korea where the stars are big time and keeping control of a crowd of ravenous fans, antifans, and stalkers for a whole day is impossible they just put up cardboard cut outs, play canned cheering/chanting, and insert all the makeup, hairstylists, managers they can for movement. It's really rare that an really good actor can do both, acting and dancing/skating/riding the horse and much more. She just fit the role of Tonya perfectly if you watch actual performance of Tonya Harding, she (the actor) really did an amazing job in this movie! Of course shout out to the actually skater who did as well an extremely good job. I really love the movie and appreciate the work of the whole crew... Of course it would be much easier if the actor could do both on a professional level but that's sadly maybe 10% of the whole entertainment industry

So, this is why she Didnt got the Oscar? Shes not Natalie Portman
@etprincipalis3 жыл бұрын
As IF Natalie Portman did all that dancing lmao. The woman dancing in Black Swan is called Sarah Lane, she is a principal dancer with the American Ballet Theater, and they used a similar special effects technique to put Natalie's head on Sarah's body, just as in I, Tonya. However, on the Oscars campaign which eventually won Natalie her Oscar, the producers openly propagated the rumor that Natalie had done pretty much all the dancing, having become close to a professional ballet dancer in the span of a mere year of training when, in reality, it takes about 10 years on intensive training to get someone even close to that level. if you are a ballet dancer or even a ballet fan, as you watch Black Swan, it is painfully clear just how much they relied on Sarah's dancing to make that movie.
