Always thought that HSG is better than Slaughterhouse despite them saying otherwise. Some square fans call their style outdated, but where else you can hear quality bars matched by superb flow. I can think of Daylyt and King Los off the top and thats it.

@@fairplayterrific147 I have Elzhi in my top 20 in any list, but I believe that he sacrifices lower cadence levels and delivery for rhyme schemes and creative more -"poetical"- writing. He's not now to be punchline oriented rapper and if you are not doing clever punchlines that much, then you should focus on layered schemes and wordplay techniques. *For example,* Lupe is master at stacking multiple meaning by utilizing different wordplay techniques like Homophones, Extended Metaphors, Entendres, Accumulation and other literally devices. My points is that Freddie Gibbs and Elzhi more of Golden Age style lyricist, while HSG, Daylyt, King Los, Lupe are more rap heavy lyricists. _Don't get me wrong, HSG can do all styles of songs ranging from personal, theme-oriented and storytelling to flow-based, bar-heavy and braggadocio._
