Howdy, germany here ;) Lamborghini belongs to Audi and sometimes uses their parts. Depending on the model, the engines of the R8 too. Strictly speaking, the R8 does not come directly from Audi, but from its sports subsidiary, quattro GmbH, which is responsible for equipping the RS models and developing and building the R8. Conversely, people like to say that the R8 GT (V10) has a Lambo engine (which, however, was developed under the leadership of Audi). R8 and Huracan share a platform. With such close ties, it's hard to tell who made what. Ultimately, Audi is also heavily involved in Lambo development and cleverly uses synergies (joint development and parts) and brand image (depends on what sounds cooler at the moment, a Lambo has parts characterized by the nimbus of Audi reliability or an Audi has sporty Lambo parts).

Great matchup, one of the closest races I have seen, did not think the Lambo would win the rolling races after seeing the Audi's performance at the start. Good battle , very close race, both cars very impressive.
