I really hope that she’s all right after all that that sounds just horrendous. Personally, I deal with headaches more than anything very very severe ones. I never realized and nosebleed could be quite that serious.

People in England they’re so the only word I could possibly come up with for them is precious just precious. If I was able to move over there right now, I wouldn’t think twice about it. I live around the United States and all due respect to people around here. They don’t seem to be concerned about people. They seem to be concerned about possessions and pleasure.

I’m in Arizona, not that it matters. I have a number of chronic illnesses and am on quite a few medications, including one for dizziness/vertigo and another for the nausea that often comes with it. I also get migraines. One type is the usual migraine, but the other one causes severe dizziness and mimics small strokes or seizures. Plus I tend towards low blood pressure. If I get constant dizziness for three days straight, I could be in more trouble than you might think and yes, that could easily warrant a call for an ambulance. I also have 3 autoimmune disorders, three digestive disorders, and several other issues that could leave me in a world of hurt after only 12-24 hours. A common cold could send me to the hospital. Count your blessings for your health and please consider that what you consider unnecessary might be major for some of us.

@@Lauriej117 Personally, if my meds stopped working, I’d probably be calling my primary care doctor rather than going to the hospital, unless my doctor said otherwise. Or if I landed on the floor. But the risks I run of doing exactly that are why I have walkers, and a large, German Shepherd service dog that knows how to brace me. She’s a very good girl and is seldom away from me. She, and my family, and our cats, they’re my life. @daraldbeadam check my temperature if I’m dizzy? Nope. Won’t mean a thing for me. My “normal” body temperature runs about a full degree below what is considered normal. I’m also unable to properly regulate my body temperature the way healthy people do. So, if my body temperature goes even slightly above the norm, I’m actually running a low grade fever. I also can’t take some medications that are normally used for reducing fevers. I have to look for alternatives. Yep, gotta love life with “invisible illnesses”.

Very sympathetic about Kelley. The reason the doctor asked about pain on the right side is they were thinking she had appendicitis. From personal experience, that is what they try and rule out first. Kelley could have an ovarian cyst, but not likely. Unless they have ruptured, they are not that painful. A fibroid is more likely. Extremely painful and can make you bleed a ton. Both from personal experience.

In the UK medical services are free unless you choose a private doctor/hospital. The NHS is paid out of payroll contributions and taxes..similar to paying into social security. Everyone has access to all treatment unlike here in the US where what you get depends on your insurance. Unfortunately a lot of people abuse the system because it is "free."

You need to take some paracetamol or Ibuprofen tablets. With a temperature like that, you could end up with fever scars. Take yourself to your doctor's surgery ASAP. It's not good to have a temperature that high.

We can't have shows like this in America. Our paramedics don't do all this.

@@jillwisland680 That's simply not true. I'm 71 years old and have had some serious health issues. I also live in a senior high rise so I see paramedics at least a couple times a week. They all act with the utmost decency and respect for me and my neighbors.

@@jimvandemoter6961 I wasn't talking about decency and such. Usually our paramedics don't stay on scene as long as UK paramedics do, and don't/can't offer as many pain relief options. But that also has a lot to do with what part of the country you are.

This is how most people in their line of work cope with what they see everyday, my mom is a nurse and she does that, she said that it also helps the patients feel comfortable around them and distracts the patients and their families a little bit.

I think that as a human being you can talk and drive at the same time, it turns out they are not mutually exclusive lol.

I thank you for your comment. I am just reiterating my experience. At my work it was formally not not allowed to talk to the driver. Since I was the boss, I kept talking to official business, minimum only. Truck were also to noisy to hear anything at that time... And stress , yes , but we relaxed after work. @@vitorialima8399
