First time watching your vlog, love seeing what others have for their evening meals, especially as we are just two OAPs and tend to have meals that are on the easy side! I must say when I started watching and saw your little lad podding the broad beans I had a moment of ‘oh no, not another family living on veggies alone’ then came the platter of beautiful 🥩 and my heart lifted 🤪, yes, real food and nice and rare too! Not only that, carbonara the way my friend’s Italian mum showed me and not in some creamy sauce: liked the idea of the broccoli in it too, must give it a try. I have now subscribed. Thank you and hope the children are better now.

I love pork and beans with breakfast. The only difference is we make a native bread called bannock to go with our fried eggs and bacon
