From the NBC series "Roots Less Traveled", uncle and nephew Al and Jr. travel to Havana, Cuba, to learn Al's grandfather, Joseph Barlow, owned and developed 34 blocks of downtown Havana, including the now-famous suburban neighborhood Buena Vista, but lost his riches in a political coup.

This show has so much potential that is unbelievable. That story in particular is amazing. Theres a lot of Americans who own property in Cuba due to a family background in the 20's,30'sand so forth. This story is a vivid example of it.

Interesting story. But kinship and family history are not evidence of title or right to property. There were, for sure, Cuban real estate investors who built so much as or perhaps more than late Mr. Barlow. The Arostegui family must surely know about it.
