We had a nice window to slam out some awesome orchardgrass and alfalfa 2nd cutting. We welcome some new machines to the mix and we are super pleased with our production levels. Enjoy the drone footage and thank you for viewing!

The new Barron in the last video, I am guessing that's the second one ? How old is the first one ? I am guessing they pay for themselves in the speed you get the hay off the field ? Loved the drones shots of the parked equipment.

@@FarmingInsider Did you get rid of the Arcusins? If so can you tell us why?

Just curious why you went with the pickup baron instead of the tow behind baron
@FarmingInsider
@FarmingInsider Жыл бұрын
The baron has the capacity to follow multiple balers so you are throttling it's productivity just following 1

Shut down at 6 pm because your done, or dew?
@FarmingInsider
@FarmingInsider Жыл бұрын
I can’t believe I didn’t make that more clear. Good catch. Dew surprisingly. Extremely early an overcast set in and the hay got tough. Baler monitors were reading 30% but it was a little whacked out because the hay was fine and dry the next day looking at the last stuff baled

@@FarmingInsider Been there;) late in the day early evening you can watch the baler moister climb every round on them days. I've baled 10-12 moister alfalfa during the day and a by sunset the balers reading low twenty's and the pressure has dropped like a rock, check the bales with the hand probe in the morning there be nothing over 15%
