btw, i cannot adaquately express my gratitude to the uploader of these & many other game shows. tpir & feud take me back to the late 70's/early 80's, growing up as an only child with a single angelic mom, eating graham wafers with mini marshmallows while guessing the answers. without ytube & the uploaders, i would've smiled 1,000,000 less times in the past 3yrs. thanks.

I have to agree cause honestly they both are great hosts.an I should give Steve Harvey credit as well.

I love Steve Harvey, and I've liked all of the other Family Feud hosts too, especially Ray Combs and Richard Karn. But Richard Dawson was the original, and will always be the best in my book.

There’s no comparison of Dawson and Harvey. Richard Dawson was the best Family Feud host along with Ray Combs who took the show in a new faster pace. I also like John O’Hurley more than Harvey.

You don't have to apologize for the gap; we got what, at the time, we would have said we couln't see again in 40 years, yet here it is, abbreviated none the less - good job dude. (although it is strange I am watching family feud reruns at 230am, mmmm)

What I like about Richard Dawson as a host was that a family, regardless of age could watch, without suggestive answers appearing on the board. I also looked up the current shows poll answers, and some of the statistics are, questionable.

Working out the kinks of the show, things the show and Richard would do as time went by they were not doing here: 1....Richard would later say 'lets play the feud', instead of saying their names to please come up... 2....When Richard would point to the scoreboard, the buzzer or flipper were happening mid-sentence of Richards 'show me'....as time went along, they delayed the buzzer and flipper... 3....When the other team had time to steal, later shows the opposing team would huddle after the initial team had 2 strikes, and once it got to them, a few buzzer sounds would go off to rush an answer....Right now, Richard waits to get over there and then asks them to talk together to get an answer... 4....They changed the total points to 300 to get to the bonus round. 5....The contestants and Richard would turn around once the bonus questions and answers were answered.. 6....Richard isn't kissing the female contestants..... 7....You didn't meet a new family if you won or lost the $5000 on the half hour show.

Richard is the best host, no question about it. His humor was subtle but hilarious. Steve is my second favorite, but the material he has to work with is pretty much all potty humor and dick jokes.

I like it much better with Dawson,even though hated him on Match game,he was so smug and egotistical wanted ever woman who came on there,always having the camera put on him.
