Money does not help with such a deep issue.... the intense emptiness can cause deep pain... for me it was like my lungs are heart had been surgically removed. Even having kids, going to therapy or going to parties with friends... nothing helps...

A lot of women feel this though in some way because society constantly tries to condition them to see their value as being directly connected to fertility and motherhood. Perhaps you should put that hatred into understanding the underlying patriarchy that makes a character like Lois to fee that way, only to become disillusioned when she realizes all of it was thankless and meaningless (because society does not care about the actual mother as a person, just the symbol of it which controls women)

It's mostly just principle, Lois' parents aren't exactly the best of people, and she was only not taking the money because she was comfortable with the life she and peter made, which is what the earlier seasons were all about, Lois these days is just down right a lowly scum bag and awful person that doesn't deserve to be called human.

honestly, the whole episode is bad, but this scene is just plane depressing. Stewie finds that hes the result of rape. Lois is shown to have deep psychological problems steming from her lack of achievements outside her parenting, and so she takes that out on forcing sex on Peter, and Peter is while physically capable, not emotionally or psychologically able to stop lois with force. All of it is depressing, makes light of male rape victims, while at the exact same time, insulting stay at home mothers.
