At least that was the case for season 10 below, just disappointed that they went through the same fate as the Simpsons, even Seth MacFarlane is aware that family guy is losing its humour, that's why seth created American Dad.

We have been to NYC a number of times and the people there are friendly and helpful. If you stand in the sidewalk looking at a map, someone will ask where you are trying to go and if they can help you. Our first experience in NYC upon arriving at Grand Central RR station, we asked a business man where the ticket booth was that sold Broadway show tickets (this is an outdoor booth). He not only showed us, but helped us take our luggage there.

Yeah a lot of people are friendly out here and we’re pretty used to tourists most of the time if you’re confused and someone is heading in the same direction they will take you there but if you’re caught in a morning rush and people are trying to get to work they won’t be so nice especially if a train is late that ruins everyone’s mood.

As a native New Yorker, I can say that we are friendly, but very direct. NYC is a very fast paced city and we do not like to be delayed. Please do not block the sidewalk while trying to get around or looking up at the tall buildings. Must try the pizza, the bagels and hot dogs from street carts.

The problem is most New Yorkers feel "being delayed" justifies treating people like garbage. And that's why everyone thinks you're douchebags.
@ESUSAMEX
@ESUSAMEX 3 жыл бұрын
@@CharlieRogers50 Well, everyone is wrong. As far as New Yorkers are concerned anyone who blocks the sidewalk and doesn't allow others to pass is an uneducated, selfish fool. By the way, being direct is not treating anyone like garbage. Being direct and blunt is much better than being a sneaky snake. I have found that most people around the country love my New York outlook and drive. I know a ton of people who like hiring New Yorkers because we get things done. The only downside to NY is its liberal corrupt government and by extension the high taxes and overpriced housing.

I have a love/hate relationship with NYC, on the one hand it's NYC so if you say you live in New York everyone defaults you to living in NYC instead of the rest of the state. But on the other hand a rather sizable part of my family is from NYC because they landed there and never left.

I lived in England when I was a kid and I remember half the afternoon on BBC2 (one of only three channels at the time) was an announcer calling out sports scores. "Everton nil. Southampton nil. ... Chelsea nil. Manchester United nil. ... Liverpool nil. Sheffield United one. ... Tottenham nil. Crystal Palace nil. ... " This went on all day! I'd go out and play for three hours and come back in to find him still going at it. ;-)
