I lived many years in Fukuoka, had a Family Mart and a 7/11 just on the corner in Nakasu. I can not count the number of egg sandwiches i bought over the years, still making them now back in Europe, same Japanese style.

Do you have any recommendations for good places to visit there? We've never been to Okayama, so we'd love to hear your suggestions for places to go and food to try :)

@@samurai_junjiro There is a kushi-age place in Tsuyama called Hijiri. If I say anymore about it, I'll start to tear up a little, I miss it so much. Taisho's ENglish is excellent and it felt like a home. I'm not remotely an experienced foodie like you both are; my favourite meal was actually just eating at the capsule hotel called Hollywood Sauna or something like that. Nothing particularly special, just the idea of eating karaage and udon with a coke in my pyjamas and then going right off to snore in a capsule. Very jealous of both of you as I now go off to prepare some Sapporo Ichiban instant noodles

Love all your food reviews! Taking down notes and I'm highlighting my favorite foods to eat when I come visit Japan! Can you do reviews about best burgers to eat around Tokyo? How about best curries to eat around Tokyo also?

We're glad you enjoyed our video! I highly recommend the hamburger called Shogun Burger in Shibuya. This is a restaurant specializing in Wagyu hamburgers and it was very delicious! The hamburgers at KABUKI BURGER & TACOS in Kabukicho Tower in Shinjuku were also delicious. Also, Coco curry is delicious! @@samurai_junjiro Cocos Curry chain is highly recommended. Their motto is Good smell, good curry. Sometimes they have local specials like keema curry etc. Note that they have 6 or 7 degrees how spicy the curry is. To order above 4 you need to have like a drivers license that show you have eaten very spicy before. Also very recommended are places that advertise grilled curry, curries heated in a clay pot, excellent. Japanese curries are very good, but a total different animal from Indian, Thai or African. I love them all.

The coffee flavor we introduced always seems to be available. They also offer limited-time flavors, and currently, they have royal milk tea flavor :)
