One time Eddie crashed a car into the house.

Another time, Carl did some damages to the Winslow kitchen when he ignored Harriette's warning not to do some barbecuing until the grill was fixed. Angered over ignoring her, Harriette punishes him to pay for the repairs done to the kitchen window and leading him to take on the 2nd job at Mighty Weenie. Eddie caused another damage in season 5's Aunt Oona, when he and Waldo drove through the kitchen and into the living room with the defective snowmobile. Carl grounded Eddie for it and demands he pay for the damages.

There was also a time when Carl was repairing the kitchen window that Steve jumped through & he accidentally broke it with a hammer. And there was another time when he was working on his barbecue & he goes outside to check the grill and it shoots inside the house through the kitchen window

I also did. At the same time, I remember that Myra was only created as Laura's answer to her original wish to Urkel to endure life as her. Little did she know is that the former ended up being the answer to the Winslows' wishes for him find out what life is like as them. Had Myra not stalked Steve by disrespecting his personal space(spy on him by drawing him naked in his room and had sex with him in his locker), he would never had learned a hard lesson in respect of people's personal space and change his behavior. I just wished they did Breaking Up is Hard To Do better by having Urkel talk to Carl about his relationship problems. He gives Steve the advice that he needs to hear in not entering a new relationship until after he ended things with Myra properly. Carl tells him of the story about Georgia and how she stalked him endlessly after they ended their relationship and Harriette warded her off. This was all Urkel needed to hear. At Amore's, he explains himself to Myra. He feels remorse in how mistreated her for accepting him as he is and wishes he could've been the man for her, but he couldn't as long as he loves Laura. Realizing how he felt, Myra realizes their relationship wasn't working out and maturely accepts it's over. When Steve tries to apologize again, she reassures him that he did the right thing to end things with her before they stayed in a relationship which would've made neither of them happy. Myra gives Urkel back his science pin and wishes him luck in his relationship with Laura. He thanks her for her support and offers to remain friends with her. Myra accepts and while sad about it, she leaves Amore's with her head held high.

Laura never pressured Steve into commitment unlike Myra. Once Steve started to change some of his more annoying behaviors, and dressing differently is when a lightbulb went off in Laura's brain, and she started to notice him for the interior & exterior changes he had been making. Plus, Steve living under the Winslow's roof from his senior year of high school onward, he could be part of a loving family environment that he had lacked for so long with his own family and be able to see & hear Laura's interactions with her family. I don't think Steve truly loved Myra anyways. Much like Stefan for Laura, they (Myra and Stefan) served their purposes to get Laura and Steve to mature and grow up in the ways they needed to do before Laura & Steve realized their destiny was to be together.

Makes me wonder why his parents, Herb and Diane, didn't do the right thing by giving Steve up for adoption after his birth. It was obvious during the show's run that they intentionally neglected him and went as far as blaming him for being born. From the bits that Urkel mentioned to the Winslows, it was revealed that Herb and Diane never intended to have children. The only joint vacation they had resulted in the both accidental pregnancy and birth of him. To avoid more accidental pregnancies again, his parents agreed to go on separate vacations. It was Herb and Diane's attempt to avoid being around Steve at all times. With the exception of Ernie, Cecil, Oona and Myrtle, he didn't fare better with most of his relatives who offered him bribe money to never visit them. It wasn't until after he became Stefan that Herb and Diane showered him with love and introduced him to his relatives. Even then, Urkel was hurt over having seen his family's shallow behavior in preferring his alter-ego over himself. Maybe it's why, he kept coming over to the Winslow home so much. Steve saw in Carl and Harriette as the loving parents as well as Mother Winslow as a loving and wise grandmother that his family should've been to him. When Urkel saw how much Eddie hardly appreciated Carl for caring for his well being near the end of the Oddest Couple, he called the latter out for it. He admits his own jealously over Eddie because he had loving parents who care for their well being. Instead of appreciating Carl, he complains over how much his father treats him like a child and is hard on him for not allowing him to have a social life. Steve mentioned he doesn't have that luxury because his own parents neglected him all his life. Though he didn't go as far as Maxine did in mentioning that he wishes Eddie live with Herb and Diane's neglect, it was obvious a part of Urkel thought like that.

Steve was already having an emotional attachment towards Laura and he didn't want nobody to take that away from him, although Myra was a very sweet and beautiful girl it was only so much that he can stand and although she would have been the better choice in the end Laura was better because good things come to those who wait and happiness come a long way. I think if the CBS producers went with the original ideas that Bickley and Warren had in mind, it would've made a different story. Urkel would've realized his love for Laura was just a mere childhood crush in the original ending for Out with the Old and relinquishes it to be with Myra. Myrtle relinquishes her love for Eddie because she not only realizes how foolish she looked in trying to pursue him, but also how much he loves Greta. She decides that Steve had the right idea and decided to find her own man who will love her for herself. Despite remaining friends, Laura is devastated when Stefan arrogantly breaks up with her and won't explain why. Maxine reconciles with Waldo when he explains the letter mix-up that his cousin, Bob, caused. Stefan visits Myrtle in Biloxi and helps him find his place in the Urkel family along with the other relatives. Urkel confronts his visiting parents and the Winslows help him reconcile with them. Episodes later, Stefan is sick and visits the Urkel home. He asks for both Steve and Myra's help because he's not feeling good. He quickly runs diagnostic tests on his clone/brother. Urkel is able to trace it back to his old cloning machine which doesn't create permanent clones. The Winslows and the Urkels gather together during Stefan's final days. It's there, he finally apologizes to Laura for having not explained why he broke up with her. Stefan didn't want her grieving for him if she had found out about his illness and wanted her to date again. Laura forgives him as he fades away for good. In that moment, Stefan's cool personality merges back with Steve: giving him a mature appearance and deep voice. The series finale would've been Urkel and Myra's wedding.

The thing is that while he was spending time with Myra in Buds N' Buns, Urkel did see how much she loves him. He could've left Laura for her if she hadn't shown her negative traits. Steve witnessed first hand how overbearing, possessive, jealous, annoying, immature and a commitment control freak Myra really is. This put him off her permanently and made him scared. It was during season 5 that Urkel saw life as the Winslows with her stalking him relentlessly and invading his privacy. Unlike Myra, he never forced himself to have sex with Laura in her locker and drew her naked in her room. In turn, Steve saw how annoying he was to the Winslows and changed his behavior to respect their personal space. Only when he agreed to commit to her in the end of Paradise Bluff, Myra calmed down considerably and became nice to Laura. Urkel was less attached to the Winslows because she was distracting him. It was by season 9 that Myra was only changing herself physically, but her negative traits remained. She wanted him to remain the same sexy nerd he is and even protested against his makeover. Steve was maturing into his own person and Laura was falling in love with him. She knew that even when he was Stefan(before becoming a separate person) she seen the kind, compassionate and caring man he was to her. Plus, Laura learned to be patient and understanding of Urkel after a harrowing experience that she endured in the alternate version of It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Urkel. She did mature throughout the show's run and realized that Urkel was the man for her all along.

That shows how much she loves her man.
