We are usually a "eat bean soup at home" kind of family, but I've heard so much in the news about the cost of eating at Mc Donalds in 2024 I thought we should give it a try. What's funny is I thought it would be more expensive! Especially in Manhattan, but from what I've heard, California actually has some of the highest Mc Donald's prices. It was part lunch part experiment. But for me the memories are my favorite part. Elijah and I were having a debate, does the shamrock shake taste like lime? Or mint? Or minty lime? Haha, whatever the case, it definitely tastes green. #largefamilylife #eating

Melody’s sweater & hat are the cutest!!! Pearl carries herself with such grace. All the children are so well behaved and care about each other. It’s lovely to see in such a crazy world we live in. Happy meals make everyone smile! 😍 Very fun treat for yourselves.

I loved this video. With our family of 16, very rarley went out to eat but when we did oh boy was it fun!! On birthdays my daddy would load us all up and take us to Tastee Freeze. The birthday person got a sundae and everyone else a cone. These videos bring back so many memories. My daddy used to help prepare meals as well.

I guessed around $110.00 (without dessert) which I feel is not bad for NYC. The mosaic art is beautiful!! Enoch looks so much older with his haircut. Lovely day out❤

Definitely not affordable here in Orange County, CA. Happy Meal is almost $8. $20 an hour for fast food wokers begins next month. The prices at McDonald's are already outrageous! The fast food corps have already said prices will increase again. But it does keep us making more affordable meals at home instead.

We refer to McDonald’s as Maccas here in Australia🇦🇺 and my goodness your Maccas is so much cheaper than ours 🎉 what a bargain to feed so many people. Also the beauty of walking to burn it all off makes for a fabulous treat meal every now and then. I love how you have such great balance in your diets so that the whole family never misses out on healthy and treats. Another fabulous Sunday adventure in NY with your beautiful family 🥰🇦🇺

In Australia here what Josiah had ordered from McDonald's, double quarter pounder, fries & a vanilla latte would cost $19.00. It looks like the weather is warming up there in New York, looks like a very beautiful day. In Australia, this summer has been the absolute hottest & extremely muggy. Watch out! There are many individual thoughts are regarding McDonald’s, in my experience of being a “whole foods” person, there is something addicting about when you eat McDonald’s. It’s the taste you want to keep coming back to…I can’t wait to see how much it cost! And if there were good toys in the happy meal. Blessings!

You are blessed that Mo is such a good toddler, our LO has a dx of ASD and would have run off at least a dozen times in the course of that morning! Also an interesting difference between Protestants and Catholics, we don't eat for an hour before Mass (Church) and an hour after.

Im so glad you allow your children to try rhings like McDonald's. I was a preschool teacher and I had a parent who would not allow her child these experiences. Well that poor little girl go caught sneaking into other childrens lunches yo try chips, candy, or juices.

There’s a much easier way to get to the UES from west Harlem. Take the bus crosstown on 125th St (M60 Select, Bx15, etc) and the take a free transfer to the 4, 5, 6 train at Lexington and 125th St downtown. Or take the M15 select bus at 2nd Ave. and 125th. Free transfers bus to Subway or bus to bus within 2-hour period. Select buses are super express.

And to get to Lincoln Center from the UES, take the M66 crosstown from 67th St and it goes straight to Lincoln Center. If you’re in the E70s, take the M72 to Central Park West and walk a block to Columbus to get to Lincoln Center. Busses are safer and more comfortable way to travel around Manhattan (no stairs! No long walks!). Familiarize yourself with the MTA bus map. And Select buses are fast as they’re express and they come every 5 mins. You pay outside for select buses and can enter through a the back doors. Or pay with your phone on Omny by any door.

Oh goodness, that was a large chunk of change! I wish you could have seen my husband's eyes pop open. 😂 (He came from a family of 13 children and he said if they ever went out his parents waited until a local place had a sale and they ordered only what was on sale, in mass quantities).
