I’m surprised they don’t start checking you out while you shop. When I worked in retail you could pause a sale and it would print a bar code and you could serve other people and resume the sale by scanning the barcode when the person came back. This was a function of almost all the check outs I used. They could check out your trolleys as you bring them up so you only had to wait for your final trolley when you were done, it would save you a lot of time.

I'm the youngest in a family of 5 and the big shopping every 2 weeks was 2 full carts with another one cart on the off weeks. I was the lucky one that helped my mom push the 2nd cart through the store. She had my brothers and my dad on standby waiting to haul it all in afterward. I can totally relate. also, the fabric febreze in my local store is usually in the laundry cleaning isle.

I always grocery shop at 6 am. It's so much easier. Though I only have to shop for one! 😂 Love your grocery hauls!

Old lady advice 😆 Use your knuckle and thump on the watermelon 🍉 to know if it's ripe. Cantaloupe you just pick up & smell. Oh, and always chop off the onion roots first to avoid tears 😭. My Nana taught me years ago. 🥰💐 Hope it helps. You have such an adventurous side with your meals. I LOVE IT! 💜💚💙🥰💐

Looks like to me if a customer spends over 1,200 plus per week , spends two plus hours in your grocery store every week up to three hours total at time , you would think the managers / owner of this store would want this large family to come back every week , plus she drops in during week I’ve seen her spend 100.00/200.00 extra , after her main haul of food , show some appreciation an make sure you have an extra person to help load her van up ,that’s hard work , our Kroger’s and Meijer grocery stores here will help you if you have more than one cart , if I were her I’d be going somewhere, they have baggers , the baggers usually help carry out, with more than a cart load , don’t tell me they wouldn’t miss sixty plus thousand a year , and not paid with food stamps .

The best way to pick out a melon/cantaloupe is to press your thumb against the stem end and if it’s fragrant, it’s good. If not, it will have to ripen still. 😀

I used to make extra pancakes and when cooled I would freeze them in ziploc bags and then we come just microwave them.

They still make Formula 409, there’s a good chance Wegmans no longer supplies it, Walmart & Target I know still carry it.

Um I want to shop at Wegman's!! 😅 they just seem to have so many options, great quality , clean store everything looks well organized and fronted ... I love that! I mean you are shopping super early in the morning but a store I shop at does the major stocking at like 10 am 🤷‍♀️ stuff is always out of stock for the early birds.

Your strawberries are good starting the end of May all the way until September then it is your corn and your sweet potatoes starting at At the end of August all the way through February. That's when everything is real good for that season

here's a tip frozen corn has nothing added n no salt. I planted my corn n it's about 4"tall now can't wait to eat n can my fresh corn

1:08 I just caught some of the Bills gear in the corner. It reminded me of a huge pet peeve I have about the Wegman’s near me. All their local sport team gear it displayed past the registers. You have to know to go over there before grabbing a cart, or leave your car in the store and walk around. So weird!

Stores do allow returns of their merchandise. So next time you get a bad watermelon, or anything that isn’t. desirable return it. That includes Meat, cheese Milk, bread, all produce, and anything they sell. They want to give refunds, than having a bad reputation.

Pretty light on the fruit and veg. 1 apple and orange per kid and maybe 5 or 6 grapes and strawberries each.

Wegman's is one of my favorite stores, we have them in PA. I don't go there that often because I haven't mastered yet how to get through their first few aisles without breaking my budget. They do have wonderful stores though, kind of experience shopping.

You should get the can holder thing that rotates your cans so you use the older ones first and it would be much more organized

Are salt potatoes already salted or do you have to salt the water yourself? I've never heard of them until I saw you buying them. I'm in Georgia and I don't think you can get them here.

There is a bag of salt in the bag of potatoes. You add it to the water and boil them.

On her Instagram, she has shown herself making them (might be in the recipes list at the top). Looks like the salt comes in a big bag that you dump in with the potatoes. I use 5lb of the small golden potatoes and 1 cup of salt because I don't live where they are sold either 😢 they are delicious though, and even better mashed and cooked on a griddle the next morning!!

I was wondering have you ever considered if you have to get at least 10 pounds of hamburger when you are shopping at Walmart picking up the 10-pound round log of hamburger? Or doesn't your Walmart have them? I'm a Walmart Cashier who LOVES your videos, who is also autistic (high-functioning) and I've just wondered about that

Tip: Pour the soda ice cold into the cup. You can also put half a glass of soda 1st, then add the ice cream. Less foam this way

Your killing me! Turn the bacon packages around so you see if it’s mostly fat or lean. And put your cantaloupe in a brown paper bag for 4 to 5 days and you will see they taste like July.
