Sir, does it mean deceased NPS Govt Servant who has opted the option of Old pension (as per 30 march 2021 notification) has no wife and children but wholly dependent parents will be paid family pension at the rate of 30% Basic pay not 50% ? Please clarify.

Is this true in case of death during service NPS will give only 20% of total corpus in lumpsum to family person and 80% will go to annuity purchase ? For example I have 10 lakh NPS corpus. will family get only 2 lakh in cash and 80% will go to annuity? 2. If NPS corpus is low like above case isn't it better to choose Old pension option where family will get 50% of Basic pay in pension. Where family will get decent amount as monthly pension.

I got my 1st promotion on 1st January 1981 after 10 years I am a teacher. I took voluntary retirement on 1st July 1991 When I will get my 2nd promotion which is due after 20 years I.e. 1st January 1991. Now how I will get it?

Hello Sir, As I was reading the same article on their website as well but then stumbled upon your such an informative video. Just a quick question though:- My father served as an inspector in PP and the last pension before his demise (last month) was just above Rs.35000. And also, he was 64 years of age at the time of his death. Now to my understanding:- Would my mother recieve family pension of 50% of 35000 or there's a catch somewhere? Guru ji .my father has passed away on 6th April this year at the age of86 yrs. He was M P Govt pensioner. Now my mother aged79 yrs will get famly pension. Right? PL explain that what % age of pension amount she will get ? 30% of new basic min scale of pay according to sev cpc ? Or whichever is beneficial to famly pensioner? PL clarify . Thanks Sir

Very well explained. Pl let me know the eligibility of pension to the children i,e out of 3 to 4 cildren,who will be eligible to get the pension. Moreover is this rule applicable for Bank Retirees also or in their case rules are different? If there is any similarity of this rule for them or not at all.

Hello Sir I have heard (from someone working in Govt sector, Haryana) that the wife of a deceased pensioner would recieve the full pension (same amount of rupees) every month as the deceased pensioner until the deceased pensioner would have attained the age of 65 years. Does it apply to a Punjab Govt employee too?
