They put a massive amount of cops out for Fare Evasion but they can’t put out enough to stop and or prevent crime. MTA what a shame.
@bxrokkАй бұрын
Unfortunately there will never be enough cops in the subways to stop every single crime. But crime can be drastically reduced with stricter enforcement of quality of life crimes like fare evasion. In this case, however, it seems like the criminal had it out for the victim and would've taken any opportunity to inflict harm on him no matter where they were..

I'm from Washington Heights. My family and I got a court order of protection against my stalker. He would violate it, get arrested, released a few hours later, and charges dropped. Rinse and repeat. Unless the DA's office takes Orders of Protection seriously, they're mostly worthless.
@slapshot68Ай бұрын
U can thank Bragg for decriminalizing certain crimes, stalking is unfortunately one of the crimes he decriminalized
@jimwertherАй бұрын
@@slapshot68 Bragg is a disaster, but my situation actually predated Bragg. It was in the 20tens, and forced me to move to get away from my stalker. The NYPD would arrest him, and the DA's office wouldn't charge him. I actually went dowtown to meet with them so I could ask, "why did you give me this Order of Protection if it's not worth the paper it's printed on?"
