Family Freedom we are not such good planners and 18 years ago had our 7th of our 8 children on Christmas Eve! So we have a good birthday party every Xmas Eve for our daughter. Then we all hang out together and we are usually very happy if all our kids who are all mostly grown can be together. My one son is active duty military so we never know whether we can see him on holidays or not. Glad you all had a great day.

Seeing how grateful your children are for even the smallest of gifts, just goes to show how good you are at parenting. You should be incredibly proud, not only of your children but of yourselves. All year I saved up all the brown paper from packages. It's great for crafts, and makes the cutest wrapping paper for presents. I had some burlap and made it in to burlap ribbons, and used flowers from our garden to decorate them. I fold it, iron it out, then store it in a extra pantry we have. I love the look of brown paper wrapped presents. But even looks aside, it's so great to reuse. It can be recycled but there's so many uses for it at home. After a year, I had PLENTY of paper to wrap with and even have some left over. Just a tip out there to anyone who buys stuff online.

You guys are such an inspiring family!!! Growing up in an abusive household I never really experienced anything like this.. Now at 20 and spending Christmas alone with no family is really no fun 🥺 but seeing how you all are together and getting along so well!! Just makes my day ☺️!!! Happy holidays ❤️💚🎄🎁 !!!!!!! I can’t believe this is the fourth Christmas I’ve watched of you guys! 😍 I’m so glad you had the best day! My heart melted at JoJo’s present for Bob 🥺 Catsmere looked like she enjoyed it too, our cats got so spoilt 😂 Matilda is my favourite musical ever, I’ve seen it three times! Happy Christmas! x Loved watching this & pleased to report that our family Christmas was similar in the fact that I didn't buy any wrapping paper, just used left over paper or reusable gift bags from last year.. Our gifts to each other were minimal, which included either Vegan snacks, chocolate ect. Money & or experiences.. Felt so much better stripping Christmas back to basics, it makes everyone far more appreciative I'm sure & so much better for the environment & not to mention our finances! :) x

No wonder the piles look so big when packets of biscuits and crisps are being wrapped, Jamie looks really pissed at her bags of snacks. JoJo got a mixed bag of stuff , Sam love the boots.

I do agree there, I think putting money and snacks and gift cards in such big boxes was very wasteful, and I can imagine it was quite disappointing. There were times through the video where I noticed Jamie and Sam looking very down about it

However it’s there way of life and as much as I wouldn’t do it, I don’t think it’s wrong for anyone else to. Everyone has different ways of doing things. At least they were grateful
