Got a fun story about this remix! I initially planned to do this as a Game Boy remix like I did with my previous Tales of Phantasia arranges. Problem is, right after I finished it, I remembered that the song was already remixed for the Game Boy for Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon, so this would be pretty redundant. Since this song comes from a Namco series I decided to pivot to using the N163 chip instead.

I had no idea the Tales series was from Namco. Namco is a gaming blind spot for me; I had to look up what the N163 was and it sent me down a rabbit hole reading about Namco history. Thank you for the remix! Fighting of the Spirit is one of my favorite examples of a banger song from a game I've never played

My absolute favorite Tales of boss theme in the entire series, I first encountered it in the PS1 version of ToP years ago and it's stuck with me ever since. Excellent cover as always!
