Sorry for the audio gap around the 7 minute mark. A car was playing music with copyright that was removed.
Commercial Street is a short walk through the heart of Provincetown (P-TOWN), Massachusetts full of amazing restaurants, art galleries, and ocean views. There is nothing in the northeast like Commercial St, a big reason why many call it "Key West of the North". Quiet quaint towns are famous across the Cape however one visit to PTown and you'll see this town is anything but. Commercial Street offers endless New England Seafood, lively nightlife, world class art galleries, and one of the most interesting group of locals you will ever meet. It is no wonder that Ptown is the tourist destination hub for Cape Cod travelers.
Located across Cape Cod Bay from Boston, Massachusetts at the tip of Cape Cod, Provincetown sits at the end of Route 6 the highway through Cape Cod. Ptown is a proud, welcoming community to all walks of life and the most interesting group of locals you'll ever meet, who truly embrace Cape life to its fullest. Cape Cod attracts visitors from across the northeast and beyond, from famous idyllic Cape Cod towns like Hyannis and Chatham, Ptown breaks the Cape Cod "town" mold.
I hope you enjoy the sights and sounds of famous Commercial Street in Provincetown, MA. The purpose of these videos is to bring some relaxation or showcase tourist destinations in their natural state without music or narration allowing the location to be the character. Please comment below if you've visited, hope to visit, or found some anxiety relief or stress relief from taking a few minutes to travel with me.

My husband & I have gone to Ptown twice a year for the past 21 years. We consider it our "Home away from home." I really like the concept of no music, no narration, no chatter...just a peaceful walk thru town. VERY WELL DONE!!!!

I appreciate that more than I can express - that's exactly what I wanted to capture. Let the town be the main character and not myself. PTown is such a unique place - I hadn't been since I was a teenager. Key West is my personal favorite place to visit - been going 1-2 times a year for 8 years and wished I could find a place up north that captured the same live and let live lifestyle. no matter who you are you're welcome. I was beyond amazed at how Ptown captures that same sentiment. if you haven't been it's like ptown with palm trees. It was the inspiration to starting this whole channel!

@@MileMarker4k In tourist traps like PTown and Key West, the "live and let live lifestyle" is essential for business and economic survival. It's the "live and let live lifestyle" that allows them to tolerate all those Weird Tourists from around the World.

@@JosephKulik2016 you are absolutely correct. the world needs more of these places. Where people can just be themselves, weird or normal.

My pleasure! It is such a unique spot unlike any other and I'm glad this video got to bring you back. I love key west and didn't think any town could have a feel like that. Ptown had that feel but with its own unique twist. I'm hoping to make it back one more time this summer did I miss any places you'd like me to try and capture?

@@MileMarker4k well, now i need to go to key west! lol. when i go to ptown, my three main excursions are commercial street, beech forest and walking over the breakwater rocks to long point during low tide. either of the other two would be nice to record. also, half a mile west from Pilgrim's Landing (that's where the breakwater rocks begin) is a bike rack on the side of the road. from there, you can walk through the marsh to the beach during low tide also. beautiful wetland scenery. i've not done it but it's on my list of to-do's. maybe i'll do it at the end of september when i go again.

@@cactaceae123 You definitely do esp if you want a ptown fix in the middle of winter. Same live and let live atmosphere with just with palm trees. I had actually recorded Pilgrim's Landing but my camera was having over heating issues and my time was running short so I had to leave it for another day (main reason to go back) the Beech forest and marshes are good ideas I didn't know about those!

@@MileMarker4k winter is actually my favorite time in ptown. especially late winter/early spring. it's so quiet and tranquil and you experience ptown as a residence, with the locals, instead of as a tourist destination. i actually went during this year's blizzard at the end of january. i did some climate research for the past ten years in ptown and discovered that the end of january/beginning of february were the most likely times to get snow. and, goodness, did i get snow! that would have been an amazing recorded walking tour. but, next time, i should give key west a go. i love palm trees!

😂 all the more reason to get up and go! It's doable in a day if you're up for a lot of diving. I live in mass near nh and made there and back again in a day trip fueled by coffee and lobster rolls. If you're unable to drive and are in Southern nh I'll even chauffer you 😂

At first I wasn't sure what year or even decade this had been taken. Then I noticed the plus size woman exiting the out house only to join another. That was the giveaway pretty much suggesting it was recent, or at least post 2000.
