Күн бұрынOne of the most famous Penang dishes of all time is the Nasi Kandar. In this video, we headed over to Deens Maju Nasi Kandar in Georgetown, Penang to have a taste of this incredible dish. When we arrived, there's already a long queue that spans around the corner of the restaurant and people from all over Malaysia kept coming in. The queue never gets shorter! We definitely had one of the best Nasi Kandar in town and will go back for more soon.

I (Andjas) tried Nasi Kandar when in KL couple years ago and loved it! what I like the curry sauce covering the nasi and I should get sotong next time! will note this place if ever visit Penang :)

Hey Puri and Sue!! You guys always go to such cool spots for food. We have never had anything like that before. O M G... Nasi Kandar.. the lineup was insane!! They had so many things on the menu and everything looks so interesting. We LOVE Fried Chicken.. so we would love that dish. Sue's stuffed squid looked good too!! OMG! That huge queue! Don't know about the huge chilli! No thank you. Love the way you eat with your hands Puri. I think I would need a fork and knife Sue to tackle the squid lOL. Lovely restaurant review. You know the food is good when the crowds are flocking to get in. Have a great weekend.

That line would scare us away. Hahahaha It better with GOOD. At least there's a lot of place to sit. We would also need to see the menu in advance or we would freak out with so many options. 😜 Everything looks AMAZING. Ooohh, rice cooked with lentils sounds perfect. Nice instant replay.

This place is super famous. Probably also because there's a car park nearby, so tourists would drive here. Unfortunately the day we went, it was full and people started double parking on the main road. Definitely must try. So worth it

omg google was wrong!!! they are hardly wrong lol the line was pretty long! hahah "only green"! so much curry sauce, yum! lol the sambal looks the same color as everything else. soft sotong sounds really fresh.

Great ! I heard this place as good as hameediyah. Are the sotong telur and ayam goreng berempah with kari taste as well ? Or only the sauce has kari taste.

Been there last year, we were immediately put off after seeing the long long queue. So we went next door to Line Clear (well... almost) to have our nasi kandar. Next time perhaps? 🤣
