Guitarist and singer from Shillong, Meghalaya Lou Majaw performing at North East Fest in Delhi.
North East Festival 2013 - A two days festival in the capital showcasing the cultural
and traditional Heritage of the North East region as well as present a case for the future of the region. The event will showcase all the eight states, their success stories, ethnic dances, top musical talents and their tourism potential. First time I saw him,at NEHU's musical night when my teacher took us to the event.He covered,'your mommy made a nasty fool out of you'.The icing of the evening's program was provided by Mose's cover of 'yesterday n with his Hilarious 'Chinese tuning' of his guitar tuning.Miss this Lou,who rode the City Bus route many a time with me n his official attire:umbrella staped at his collar.

Ashoka Pillar in the background means Rock n Roll is not anti-establishment here. It has lost it's rebellious nature. This gig must be government sponsored but that's sometimes necessary as we in the northeast do not really have private corporate organisation rich n indulgence enough to care for rock music.

Bob dylan is not a singer and so goes for Lou Majaw. I dont understand how inferior musicianship gets legendary status in India. Antics and stages moves are just cover ups. But one thing I must appreciate that all this has helped him to stay Really Fit!!...Is soulmate playing anywhere near... I wil head in that direction!

He is known as Bob Dylan of the northeast. You can say imitating bob dylan but not ac/dc coz he's fav artist is bob dylan. He's son's name too is Christopher Dylan Majaw. This is not particularly AC/DC's, its Lou's too..
