Famous Last Words is a band that writes concept records, meaning each album tells a story. This album council of the dead, tells the story of a group of people in the afterlife. Each song on the album is a different person telling about there last day on earth, they only remember their last day. As you listen to the album, you will begin to realize that each and every person is connected. At the end of the album, all of the characters begin to recognize each other and are given a second chance at life. Hope this helps if you were a little confused. i hate this quote. you don’t know if someone’s suicidal because they’re chronically ill, maybe they have an incurable disease, maybe someone died they can’t get back. but the idea of your problems being “temporary” isn’t helpful to suicidal people.

This band filmed the stage performance part at my highschool and I was there (I was in the front row). But the guys in the band are so dedicated to their music and they are the nicest people ever.

Hang in friend, iv been there more than once and music has saved me time and time again...start a Journal if u have to, or find a friend you can talk to. So matter how useless or broken you feel there is always someone who can be there for you. Stay strong and keep calm. Its easier said then done but it is also the greatest challenge one can overcome imo. Life is a battle everyday, and its one we must win. Fight on my friend, fight till your name is called. ✌ and 💘

It's painful to see these smiles of the deceased, like they had so much to live for. They were all so beautiful.. even if they think they'll never be remembered, this song is a tribute to everyone who felt like their life was not worth living.

Back in 2020, someone very special sent this link to this song so I can listen to it. He told me, the exact words "I sent you this song for you to listen to because I know you been having the thoughts. I don't want you ending up on the list." His words made me tear up and cry. 2 years later, I still listen to it and still cry, and still remember what he said. 😭🥺💜

I actually got a friend to duet this with me for a "talent show" we were honestly the only serious group there and nobody knew what we were going to do until we did it and by the end everyone was in tears.... we touched so many people... and even added some more "recent suicides sadly" and friends of them and their families went up amd hugged us for what we did... we've now started a music club at our school for those troubled or simply feeling alone and its now one of the biggest clubs there

People would call this band satanic, but this video alone saves lives. Who cares if they cuss? It's relatable. It helps to know you aren't alone in this world. "Satanic" bands are just the ones who provide comfort and speak the truth completely as it is. They show true colors of depression, suicide, everything. They do not make you commit suicide or influence you to, they help you to stop your self-harming and suicide attempts; they help heal you. They're heroes. Misunderstood, and sometimes underappreciated heroes.

the ending to this literally made me break down and think about my life. I'm 16 and I used to listen to FLW a long time ago, but lost interest in music for a while. recently I was told by my doctor that I have depression, and to change some things around in my life e.g. get more sleep, eat healthier etc. I never really had the motivation to start this but hopefully I will soon. even more recently I have been having suicidal thoughts, just like a voice asking me why I'm still alive, and I don't have an answer. after starting my new job it's gotten worse, today I had a mental breakdown and felt pathetic in front of everyone, and also admitted these thoughts to my parents which made me feel worse, as I hate people worrying about me. but after watching this video I literally had tears streaming down my face, just looking at the faces of all of these people who had so much potential, yet it was taken from them. this has given me the motivation to go out and talk to someone, and try to find help wherever possible. this has been building and building up, and I need to let it out. if any of you are feeling similar to me, I would love to talk to someone who understands and to understand what they are going through too. please, don't let this take you, you are not alone, this is not permanent and you can and will get through this. suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

This video was by far the best music video I've seen. It reaches out to people who are suicidal/ have had friends that died from suicide. I've never seen a band do this. It's amazing. It's sad to see such a small amount of beautiful people who died from suicide. It's never the answer

my best friend was pronounced dead after attempting suicide. She said that she had an out of body experience where she watched the doctors try to save her. They even wrote up a death certificate. But somehow God gave her a second chance, cause she's here today. She succeeded but was brought back. I am glad to have my best friend.

It's natural. Nobody, no matter if we knew them or not, wanted them to end their own life. They deserved so much more than what they got. And god, if there is an afterlife...I hope they see just how many people love them, even if they never got to meet em. I hope it makes their resting place so much better.

This made me cry. I have no idea why, I know nobody who committed suicide. It is just beautifully written and portrayed. Especially the slideshow. Those people were shown smiling and posing, but ultimately went through the sams with that man went through. Struggle and doubt. It really is the sadest thing to see. Famous Last Words, you are simply amazing. Now I'm sitting here looking stupid with tears rolling down my cheek :)

The dark cloud that is following you will pass. It may come back, and that’s okay. I’ve been there before. There was a point in time where I would drink every single night because it was the only way that I could sleep. I so badly wanted this life to be over. Several years later and this is still the greatest music video ever, I have been listening to Famous Last Words for well over 5 years and they still hold such a deep connection to me, I grew up in a very broken home and I never really had any friends or people who I felt like would care if I was to kill myself and disappear and despite being in therapy for a long time I still continued to try taking my life and a couple months back I was hospitalized after I attempted suicide and I felt so alone and I felt like I didn't have anyone but this song has helped me through this recovery journey and it's just incredible to see how far they have come and also how much they've inspired not only me but so many other people to continue living and fighting and even inspiring some people to go out there and make a change for their loved ones who suffer with depression and suicidal ideation. Because there is so many people out there that you don't know what they are going through and seeing the whole end segment and see how young some of those people were when they took their own life, it's heartbreaking so it's wonderful to see Famous Last Words making a change and bringing awareness to not only the close minded people but to the people who can get help and get better. Serious props to you guys, you're really amazing and thank you for being a part of my life and being there when I needed to cry and I needed to be reminded not to take my life. You guys are doing amazing things.

I’ve lived with these feelings for a long time and sometimes I just feel invisible to the world but I’m glad I never gave in because I have a beautiful daughter to live for. Early depression and drug addiction in my early teens took me to some of the darkest places i could never even imagine. Standing on bridges, sitting on my bathroom floor ready to end it all and searching for something in this world that i thought i could never find in myself. Lonely, dark and miserable was how my everyday life was spent. I had no coping skills and thought it would never end. I am now 25 and still have some downs... but there are so many beautiful things in life that we can feel and learn if we believe in ourselves. The best advice I can give is to just keep trying. Believe in yourself to wake up and even try just the slightest bit. You never know... an amazing song can come on and the most precise moment in your life. An event may take place that completely changes your perspective on life. Living is one of the most fascination things there are to experience in this world. An no matter what your situation is... Believing in yourself will bring you to places you never thought existed. Be positive my friends... the journey goes on and so will you.

Because most people in America can't appreciate good music when it's in front of their face. This song has one of the best messages we can possibly spread in this genre and people are to focused on their "drugs, hoes, sex and partying". If common youth would pull their heads out of their selfish asses long enough to see that the people around them need help, maybe those teenagers would still be here. Instead, they put themselves above everyone else. Shameful.

I was in highschool when this came out, and life continued going down the shitter from there. This game we all play together can suck total ass, and I get that. Anyone feeling awful, I was right there with you at the bottom of the scoreboard. But you can take this awful fucking moment and turn it into something great. I make coffee and design stream overlays for friends. It doesn't take much to make someone else happy and thus, you as well. Life isn't solo. It's the incredible moments we make along the way to change lives together. Let it be coffee, or art, or music, or funny 30 second videos, you have something to offer that can't be replicated by someone else. You need to be here, and someone is counting on you to be there. As alone as you feel, as over it as you think you are, There's always one person excited to hear your voice. Don't take that away from yourself. You're better than that. I promise. From one survivor to another, we are the writers of our story, and damn, is this going to be a good one.

i was suicidal, and i felt alone... i heard a lot of songs about suicide not being the right answer, i never believed them... i always thought that nobody would care if i went away, all the songs were the same to me, nothing but lines just being spoken to people... this one is different, when he said: it's just a permanent solution to a temporary problem, i inmediately started crying... because i knew he was right, i know there are people who love me for who i am. i'm not the best looking person and i might not do everything in live the way it's supposed to go, but atleast i now know my life is in fact worth living :) if anyone has the same problem as i used to have feel free to talk about it. i learned to care about every living being, even if i don't know who you are or what your story is, i will accept you for who you are :) know that you're never alone, even if you dont know me, know that i'm here, and i will do everything i can to help you feel better.

Depression is a horrible battle...and nobody deserves to go through it. I have written several suicide notes over the past 6 years....and I could never bring myself to do it...it is so hard to go on when you feel there is nothing left to live for, which is how I always feel. To those who suffer any mental disorder or battle, you are not alone and we can share and battle this pain together. Songs like this one are some of the reasons I go on and wake up another day. You know, I wish I would hear that from some of the people I so call "Friends". I have alienated myself to my house, deactivated my Facebook 3 days ago and haven't called anyone. No one has contacted me. Makes me wanna re-evaluate who I call my "friends". I have anxiety and depression and this song is one of the things that's getting me through it. I had a friend who committed suicide in 2011 and I saw the after effects. It devastated me. I will never forget his name. RIP my friend!

Also, talk to a friend someone that will listen. I was suicidal and depressed until I found a friend that truly cared. He had been through different struggles but the same at the same time. Without him I would not be alive right now nor would he we both saved each other. He is the reason I wake up everyday. The reason I push through the depression and try to stand back up everytime I am knocked down. Moral of the story is that it is not true there is someone out there for you. You will never be alone. Just find a person like I did and if you already do have a person like that feel blessed talk to them. Your life is worth more than you think.

The uniform ones hit home for me. 22 vets commit suicide a day. When we got back from one of my deployments, within 2 months 2 of my very close friends committed suicide. I found this song randomly and it really pulled my heart strings

My dad killed himself in 2006...We now believe he had bipolar disorder...I just got done listening to all the songs on this album. FLW are a concept band and every album is an entire story. For those who have heard the album: Omg! Just realized the "beat" were the sounds of how each of the characters died. You hear the beep of the heart monitor, heavy breath, a loud boom, sirens, walky talky static, skidding tires, the cocking of a shotgun, chamber click on a handgun....not in that order. We were also brought into the story by that deadly beat. Brilliant...fracking brilliant !!!!

I have felt, and still sometimes do feel like committing suicide, but I look at the bigger picture.....who am I leaving behind? And it gives me pause.......My uncle committed suicide recently and it left us all in disbelief and shock. His memorial was standing room only.......I could only imagine the effect that it would have on my family and friends if I were to go through with it......And I would hate to hurt my mother like that.......and who would care for my cats? So many things rush through my head....... I have been going through alot lately.....the sudden death of my uncle and the tragic death of a very close friend (car accident) and all the BS at my job as well as the BS that life constantly throws at you.......it just gets to be too much sometimes........but I want to say......You guys are amazing!! I was on the brink one night and stumbled across this video.....and I want to say, your words.....combined with my conscience thinking about who would be left behind.....well, it stopped me from doing something stupid.......I just wanted to say thank you and I love you guys.......keep inspiring others.....
