I love my Honeywell. I used to have Vornado Flippi. All three burned out after a while. 🙁

I have both, well, the mainstays and the older version of the Honeywell. I'm also with you, I prefer the older ones, they just pushed more air! Although the new ones are quieter. The mainstays is okay, and this is coming from a guy who owns a 2003 Lakewood HV-9, and that thing is a BEAST. I feel a lot more power coming out of that one compared to the mainstays, but yours still is not a bad fan overall. Bought mine in 2015 and it's still working. Your mainstays sounds exactly like mine Lol. Anyways, great comparison video!

The Shroomer 98 Yes! The older Honeywell was a great fan. This one isn’t as powerful. As for the Mainstays, I agree. It’s not too bad but nothing fantastic. I just like it because it looks like an HV9. Thank you as always!

Np! If you can find one of those Lakewoods.... I would say get it before anyone else does and drive home as quick as you can! Very high quality and it's really easy to maintain since both bearings are in plain sight! I have a video of it on my channel too if you're interested lol. :)

@@theshroomer9825 , I borrowed one of the Lakewood 16 inch table fans and omg, even on low, that thing blows like crazy. Almost too much, lol

An anemometer is a device used for measuring wind speed, and is also a common weather station instrument. The term is derived from the Greek word anemos, which means wind, and is used to describe any wind speed instrument used in meteorology. WikipediaAnd then tell us where the fan will be used. Outside on the patio or in the garage the noise not so much of a concern.Inside bedroom a big deal.I have the Honeywell and use it in the house where noise is a factor. It is quieter than my metal fan (not a mainstays) but similar and makes a little more noise than the Honeywell.

The high pitch noise on the Mainstays is a deal breaker for me though. Great review.

*Vornado definitely makes a great fan **Fastly.Cool** . We had the older model that was larger and which we liked more, but we are still quite pleased with this product. Recommended!*

nevetS nellA I stated in the title It’s a comparison not a full on review. Both are good in their own ways, if you’re looking for something sturdy and don’t mind the noise, the mainstays is the way to go.

Mainstays fans are cheap, unreliable, not very well designed, and aren’t durable.
@fansgalorellc6214 жыл бұрын
Dean McCool They got even cheaper too. If you read the reviews for the new version (All black except for the blades) they don’t even last a night. That’s a shame.

I know this was 2 years ago but I've only ever purchased the high velocity fan variety had them for years bought another still no problems but I've seen a lot of negative reviews and can understand it's mass produced Chinese stuff I'm actually surprised myself I still have these things working.
@deanmccool2132 жыл бұрын
I'll give you this one. I own a mainstays high-velocity floor fan. I had it since brand new and it's still working.
