Tuomas, Troy, Marco and Floor are very interested in science and of course Nightwish pays a lot of homage to science. And vice versa. There are several animals named after Nightwish, Tuomas and Floor. There is a mineral quarry in the Sates named after Nightwish and a forest in Mexico.

Finnish person here. A quick note on the pronunciation of Tuomas's last name. Of "Holo-Pai-Nen" you got the first and the third part right. The "Pai" part is pronounced like "Pie", not like "Pey" or "Pee". In the Finnish language, the letter "a" is always vocalized like "a" in "jar" (a bit shorter, but the same sound). In general, our language is very simple in only this one sense: unlike in English, every letter has only one pronunciation rule attached to it. The only exception I know of is the "ng" pairing, which always sounds like "ng" in "anger".

Tuomas is not just a musical genius, he comes across as very intelligent, insightful and humble, someone you could sit and talk to for hours, about everything to the moon and back. And the fact that he's a big Disney fan makes me like him even more 😀

About the whoe "competition" thing, i stil don't thing its really needed that "normal" worker earn maybe 1000 bucks and a CEO earn millions. Like no matter how good one person is, give him twice or 3 times more but not that one person gets more than all the people of his company together. Imagine you have a company with 1000 workers where the CEO earns as much as all those 1000 together. No what will happen if you fire the CEO or if you fire the 1000 workers ? Is the CEO alone THAT good that he can keep all the work on his own ? Or would some of the 1000 workers much more easy just do his job ? I also guess if you take just the money that your 4-5 richest people have, you can pay all student debts and have free health care for your whole country, since they just sucked soo damn much out of you.

As a former employee of a major University, I can say that pay-for-education isn't working. The rich buy their grades with no work. And half of those "passing" can't alphabetize a stack of files. Also, as the former owner of a technical bookstore, who supplied schools...I found the yearly rising book prices outrageous...even worse, the publishers and teachers conspired to have a "new edition" of textbooks come out each year so that students would have to buy all new books...actual truth...the books never changed info...they just switched the chapters around! Buy used books, kids...you'll figure it out!
