The concerns Sheldon has about the pricing of cards is one of the most important parts of this article. Creating a gatekeeper vibe is by far the worst part of the format. Obviously play to win strategy is going to be part of any metagame, and that's why the RC should be part of Wizards and not an independent body. The RC shouldn't be able to change an economy, Wizards should be in charge of rulings and bans.

There are some serious threats in that article and the fact that RC can shape the prices of cards is terrifying. We all knew about it and we never touched it because we knew it was dangerous field to move in. Now they are talking about it and they are thinking about doing something about it. God help our wallets.

Ban Triumph of the Hordes

I found it odd no where in the top five concerns were there any single card concerns. He was concerned about homogenized deck building, a new competitive player based, the reserve list, Ramp, and fast mana. Most of those concerns are sorted by rule zero. Cedh players dont want to play against janky do nothing decks they want a streamline stack interactive experience and will go out of their way to make sure they arent playing a solitaire pod. Ramp and fast mana are an odd thing to hate on considering the most recent trend has these effects pushed and reprinted in brown not green, there is plenty of ramp if people are willing to play it in non green between signets medallions talismans mox sol ring crypt and vault its odd to think lanowar elves is the problem. Oddly enough no mention of cyclonic rift, hull breacher and dockside being top 5 on the fun/power level scale of issues. Nekusar dealing 7 from a wheel is nothing compared to everyone discard your hand, i get a fresh grip and 21 treasures... sylvan primordial is still banned and its 1/7th as offensive. Overloaded Cyclonic rift is trash fun for everyone and dockside is just a mistake of a design in a multiplauer conscious product, if it came from a standard set i could see it making it under the radar but to come from a commander product and not realize what the floor of that card truely was is just egregious.

The Wanderer is awesome! The static ability will prevent a lot of damage in certain games.

Stadium is such a funny alternate wincon. I use it in my token decks. I get a huge kick out of Ghave and his fungal hordes scoring the proverbial touchdowns :P

I like "I Hate Your Deck"'s take back counters, where you are allowed 2 free ones but if you have to make a third take back you lose the game. Instead of losing the game, a third take back could cost a point.

There should be 1 freeby take back then yeah you lose a point for the next one

@@samuelstilger3252 If only we all had as big a brain as you. unfortunately, the people in the video you watched are humans & humans make mistakes. It sucks, I know and I agree, but no one is perfect. Add on top that these fine folk are not playing in the same room but through the internet makes mistakes even easier to occur. At this point in commander vs, I don't think anyone involved truly cares about the points (except maybe Steven). One take back costing a point vs a third take back costing a point isn't really a big deal in the scheme of things, it would just serve to make some viewers happy.

@@samuelstilger3252 Agreed you wont always make the most optimal plays and that is fine but the play you made should be the one you stick with. I get for a show they are doing it for less dead air time but it is painful to watch. It makes it all the more painful that Jeremy did all that and still lost the season when he should have won or tied. Also the points are becoming just a detriment to the show as a whole. They all ganged up on Stephen because he had such a commanding lead and then once they caught up they still chose to kill him first.

Agreed. They painfully took Stephen out early because of his commanding lead in other matches. Jeremy should have double attacked Jon and single attacked Justin. Killed Jon with the stadium and then killed Justin on the next combat. Stephen's deck was mostly a meme and Jeremy had the best board state. At that point Jeremy would only have been able to win or tie the season.

If only he put that much effort into learning how to pilot his deck.

I think he planned to kill Jon with the stadium, but failed due to anguished unmaking. He also might have been hoping to catch Jon not casting Nevinyrral.

I have a brew that have 20 something boardwipe and I do believe it help super friend strategy to be able to restart the board creature wise as often as possible because creature are the principal treat of planeswalker

He also couldn't Stadium John since the only creature attacking John was Anguished Unmaking'd therefore never dealt damage to contribute to stadium, meaning he can't be killed, only Stephen or Justin. And if he'd tried to swing 2 creatures at John the stadium would've been exiled so it wasn't a punt John just played his way to second this game meaning he won the season.

He couldnt because he was not dealt combat damage. Its why he killed the Ludevic.

He's an awful player, tbh. They do seem more willing to help him,, kind of like a gold handicap.. Never understood why he is in the group though for KZfaq purposes. Justin, Jon, and Stephen are all much better players and seem more fun to play with. I never see positive comments about Jeremy. I think Jeremy once made a weird comment about being their bosses. Perhaps he put himself in?
