Hey Guys. Quick note on the "Damper Effect Range" at 4:05 in the video. I mentioned setting a wider range, where in fact it should be set to where the Damper is working. eg; If you set 90° than the damper will be working 45° to each side L/R. Thus setting it too low eg; 20° will not have a desirable effect as it will only take effect for 10° to each side. Thanks Maurice ;)

21:9 ultrawide works for me as I have a similar monitor but you may want to consider setting your screen resolution to 1920x1080 for capture when doing these "how-to" videos to maximize your viewing audience. Thanks and great work!

Great video, new to the CSL DD, but in Fanalab the steering box and wheel appear but the pedals do not. In the Fanatec Control app all three appear and react to my pressing and turning the devices, I have reloaded driver with no help any ideas very frustrating

Very nice video! Was hoping that there was a way to change modes (PC/COMP V2.5) trought Fanalab (for my drifting wheel without buttons). Swaping wheels everytimes to do so is not ideal.

Awesome guide. Do you know if it’s possible to adjust led brightness for endurance button module? It’s very bright especially racing at night and can’t find any information about that.

Unfortunately at this time you can’t adjust the brightness. That would be a great option they could add to the driver/firmware.

I'm a little confused about the Dynamic FFB. From what I understand, it's supposed to simulate the gyroscopic effect of the wheels turning, so having it only kick in when the wheel is cranked to one side or the other makes no sense. Instead, Dynamic FFB should only be in effect when the wheels are straight. Right? Or am I misunderstanding the effect?

Thanks again for another great video. Question: I have 2 fanatec wheels and I would like to use them both with AMS2. Can I somehow save different button assignments for each wheel? I have a Formula V2 and a R300.

Thanks Bill. Unfortunately AMS2 doesn’t allow controller profile saves so what I do is duplicate the controller profile in the AMS2 documents folder. One has my FV2 mappings and the other PorschePodium. I just swap out and rename it to its default name. A pain in the butt though the only way for now. Hopefully they add it soon

@@OnTheGrid Thanks for the tip. I will definitely do that. I really like AMS2 and would like to take advantage of both wheels. I also have a McLaren GT3 wheel on order so I would also like to be ready to add this wheel. I will look for a suggestion process for AMS2. It is very impressive how this sim has matured in such a short time.

I want to change my Rev Lights on my Clubsport 2.5 wheel. I did it in Fanalab, but when im playing F1 2022 i still have the standard one

You have to disable the REV led lights in F1 22 Telemetry settings for Fanalab to work. See settings below. Telemetry: Fanatec LED: OFF UDP-Broadcasting: OFF UDP-Port: Matching the one you previously set in FanaLab UDP Send Rate: 60Hz UDP Format: 2022

I have a problem with the rev lights in iracing. If I set them up like you did, it works when I’m in first gear. But when I go through the gears. They are not 1:1 anymore.

Hi, it depends on the car because unfortunately FanaLab doesn’t support cars with per gear rpm ranges. Eg; Mercedes F1 has a different range for each gear, so if you set it to match in 1st gear, 2nd gear will be off and so on. Hopefully it will be added.

Hello, I'm new to Fanatec, I come from a T300RS. Can somebody tell me how to remap buttons on the WRC wheel? I cannot view behind in NFS payback and it doesn't allow buttons remapping from the game. TY!

If I’m not mistaken, Payback does not support wheels other than Logitech. There may be a workaround out there.

I just bought the Elite WRC alcantara wheel and it has a very good support on Payback and a better support on Heat and NO support on Unbound. Interestingly, the T300RS which I also own, has NO support for Payback on PC but has on PS5, but it has support for Unbound on PC. I also resolved the buttons bindings, I used JoyToKey

Does dynamic ffb activate in game automatically . . . I find that dynamic ffb isn't working in game for me . . .

Make sure you have Fanalab or In game and not both. Example would be ACC. If Dynamic FFB is set to 100 in game then make sure to disable it in Fanalab, which I prefer. You also need to make sure the ranges are set if you choose to use Fanalab vs game.

How the F$$$$ do you get the active profile?? Mine stays blank is it because I’m using V3 pedals through usb?

Pedals wouldn’t affect that. First make sure you enable both green telemetry / hardware support buttons. From there you need to make one of your profile settings as default ( green when enabled) when you start a game that will auto load the active profile. Hope that helps.
