As a follow up from the video where I unboxed this, here I'm giving it a short try out it ACC and finding out how the wheel handles in VR.

Nice overview of the wheel. I've just had the Formula 2.5 (non-X version) delivered. Just gotta wait a while until my CSL DD arrives before I can use it!

Question, that is the one with the leather grips. How does that feel when your racing. Is it just as good as with alcantara.

@@RaymondJansen Yeah, leather. I much prefer it over Alcantara (my previous wheel was Alcantara). You don't feel any real difference when racing, but it's easier to keep clean

You can decorate your fanatec wheel and seat theres a french company i cant name because i will have my blog deleted who do gorgeous stickers of most the F1 teams .

GODS. . . I _really_ can't wait to experience VR for the first time. It's coming. hopefully no later than summer of '22. I can only imagine how fun racing is in VR.

I got that steering wheel its great , i bought some pedals and the load cell , then i had to pay £86 import tax and £12 carridge , from Germany , i was a bit shell shocked. But i voted for brexit so cant complain.

Hello, nice video!! Thanks 🙏🏻 for sharing. I just wanted to ask you about your RSeat cockpit. Is it sturdy enough for the DD1? Did you need some extra plate to attach the wheel base?? I have the same cockpit… but with a CSW 2.5 😅

Hi, the DD1 goes straight on. The cockpit is pretty solid aside from the usual flex that comes with a frame of this nature, im sure you know what i mean as you have one. Hey mate I would suggest getting the AMD FidelityFX SuperResolution Upscaler for SteamVR games. Really helped make ACC smooth in VR for me.

Have a look in the options menu and enable fanatec leds.

Some people say hands and shoulder suffer with this rim after long session.. how do you feel it after 6months?

No problems here, haven't done any super long sessions though, couple hours at the most

@@schullestulle3360 Yes I got the wheel and it’s awesome (bunch of buttons,customizable Leds and led screen) bit o don’t use it that much. For F1 is a must but outside that, it’s not very confortable (no arms or shoulder pain, it’s just that it feels too small, or the handles are too thin, don’t know) I use more the McLaren gt3 and the bmw gt2. But as said, now F1 22 comes and VR compatible, so I’ll use this rim a lot.
