Sounds like a worn pin ,spring or washer, lube won’t fix it properly👀

Why did you put wd40 on it?
@Izzys_Autos2 ай бұрын
It’s like franks red hot sauce. I put that shit on everything.

@@Izzys_Autos ok cool. But like franks red hot sauce, wd40 also isn’t a lubricant. It can loosen tight fittings or rusted fittings, also temporarily lubricate, but that’s not its purpose and will destroy whatever lubricant is already there while also becoming sticky over time. It would be better to use butter. Still not ideal, but better. lol.

It really does sound like you used way less than you actually should be using wd40 or anything that could lube the parts responsible for making those sounds.

I literally doused it with lube and it’s still squeaking. My next step is to take them appart and apply some grease to prevent it from happening again.

WD-40 is not a lubricant.

@@Izzys_Autos try Tri-Flow. It's a good penetrating lube and I have yet to find a squeak it can't handle. I've used it on door hinges, bikes, fans, cars etc.

@@Juan-yr8eu i did not say that wd40 is a lube. Read my comment again buddy

@@Izzys_Autos yeah, propably something from inside makes that sound, and lubing it from outside wont matter.
