The Giants entire being is that they're superior to others. The fact that he felt fear from a human actual makes his fluctlight start collapsing. His Incarnation upon dying is strong enough to paralyze Fanatio, just like Dakira's is strong enough to stop the attack.

FYI, Dakira's backstory on how she became an integrity knight was that she fell in love with another woman which was agaisnt the rules of the Axiom Church. She felt bad for commiting such a crime and went to confess to Goddess Stacia (God of creation) in a church. Since she said it out loud, those monitor dudes caught her and then she was turned into an integrity knight. Integrity knights that were synthesized had their memories blocked but have their true feelings still bearing in them and in this case Dakira's love for women and their beauty. So she then served and trained under Fanatio and swore to protect her as she reminds her of the woman she first loved. If i am wrong pls dun kill me, just lemme know

@BrianxStephanie No one actually pointed this out on your Patreon video months back, but the reason why Dakira (the knight that protected Fanatio) became a Integrity Knight was because she was seen to kiss another female. (It isn't allowed) The reason she chose to follow and protect Fanatio so much when she was changed was because the female she loved, resembled Fanatio a LOT. :(!

Great reaction! A piece of information about Darika: The 4 Fanatio's disciple are the weakest knights, so they need to work together to fight; Darika knows Fanatios took care above all of them. In the past, Darika was arrested and become to a Knight because she loved another woman; after Eugeo and Kirito duel's, Darika felt useless but noticed that she loved Fanatio and will protect her.

Just a little explaination on the power In this world power is not like if you have higher status or level you will definitely win, it depends upon the Person's fighting spirit and his will to protect someone. I would really love if this same thing would have been introduced in our real world MMORPG games which it shouldn't matter on level but on willpower and skill. Roughly speaking his believe that humans aren't a threat to him conflicted with reality and so he starts glitching kinda like how the noble that Kirito "killed" in Alicization couldn't choose between obeying the Taboo Index and Preserving his own life. It's like a flaw in the logic.
