I love the 30s and 40s wood furniture. I have a great appreciation for the cherry and mahogany wood. I cringe when I hear these people I'd paint it!!! Especially the English oak with claw feet. Beautiful!! So hard to find and very pricey!! I really thank you for showing these stores. So fascinating. Take care.

I really enjoy your trips through your Habitat ReStore. Ours is not near a neat and clean, but still a fun trip! And FYI, not to be snarky, but the angel needlework picture is not needlepoint, but counted cross stitch. I love these counted cross stitch pieces that I find at yard sales and thrift stores for next to nothing! I am a rescuer of said pieces. And you're right, there is a lot of work in them.

The vintage red chairs for two hundred dollars 💵 are worth there weight in gold so unique ❤😊😊😊

I have always heard that an antique must be at least a hundred years old. So I believe the word vintage would apply to something maybe between fifty and a hundred years old. So I would say I love vintage and antiques. I have some mid-century modern furniture from the 60s in my home. But I also have pieces from the thirties and twenties and even a couple things from the late eighteen hundreds.

This Restore is obviously in a very opulent neighborhood. How wonderful to be able to donate such beautiful pieces and give others the option to buy and in turn help Restore help the community.

I only love vintage furniture combined with contemporary. That record player was to cute and I never saw one. The headboards I love and only with one color, the chairs were beautiful and your favorite match that food platter you had in your hands. On Easter my grandma used to have us wear hats and gloves to church, every year I changed the ribbons color, oh and I do remember wearing something that raised my dress, and I don't remember how it was called. Oh and let me not forget those paper dolls. I have so much fun with your video's, yes it throws me back. Thank you for sharing.

The gilt dining room chairs, the red/gold dining chairs and the Century dining chairs were magnificent. The vintage dresser and matching vanity with the bakelite drawer pulls were beautiful. I am blown away by the furniture these stores have and the low prices they charge. Amazing!

I still have my Shirley Temple paper dolls and used to make extra outfits from cutting things from catalogues. I could just stay in that book section for hours! I love very primitive like Little House on the prairie..

My mom used to buy me paper dolls when I was a little girl. She used to play with them when she was a little girl, and also play paper dolls with me. Loved the blue flowered china set, gorgeous! Yes, I took a tour through Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathdral and the London Eye, great views from there. I live close to a castle called Arundel in West Sussex, England if you want to look it up. Those gold framed chairs with leather seats were absolutely stunning! I I agree with you the Stanley buffet piece was gorgeous! And absolutely fell in love with the waterfall chest of drawers and vanity, with the mirror! Would love to have that for addressing table! Again thank you for taking us a long with you, as usual an utter joy!

Such lovely items today. My Aunty likes vintage well proper Antiques as she calls them! We liked the pictures of Westminster Abbey, Somerset House and Lambeth Palace. In the winter Somerset House has a huge ice rink installed truly magical with hot chocolate and cakes in a little cafe at the side. At our local market there is a good stall selling fabrics. The owner always shouts out ‘roll up roll up for your rolls’ everyone is always laughing but his stall is very popular every Saturday. Have a great day. Best wishes from the UK Jenny

Stanley and hooker furniture. Were in my neck off the woods. My mom was a nurse for Mrs Hooker the wife of Mr Hooker who started the company . everyone had to have a stanley hope chest for graduation❤❤❤

Hey Kelly gal! I'm definitely a vintage furniture girl. I worked in customer service at a high end furniture store in my mid 20's...I remember how sought after and expensive all the Hooker furniture was back then. I was just never a fan personally. I loved the vintage waterfall chest and vanity with that great hardware, the vintage dark buffet. I would have totally bought that cherry vanity with the mirror. Also loved the Mahogany bed frames. And OMGoodness! I owned a Bundy Clarinet!!! The one featured was even older than mine! I started playing in 6th grade band and went thru my Junior year playing the clarinet, tenor saxophone, and xylophone for marching band, pep band, concert band and jazz band. I love the vintage pieces, but I can appreciate the modern pieces too. I have seen several pieces where I said: I love that, but it would never fit in my house. Lol

I also remember paper doll cutouts from my childhood. There's a company that I found that had Shirley Temple cutouts and I bought them. She was my favorite child actress and my Dad brought home an antique blue glass with an imprint of Shirley Temple face on it. The fabric there looks amazing and I would have bought some for sure. TYFS

Nice and unique store. I would have had to get the German tea set. The vintage vanities were beautiful. The prices may have been a bit higher, but the quality of the furniture was top notch. I love the chair you loved 🤣. When I was young, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on paper dolls! Thanks Kelly for showing us all these pretty things.

OMG that was a great store. When I was a girl we made dresses for our paper dolls from the Sears and Montgomery Wards catalogs.

I love classic furniture and antique furniture. No modern, no brass or chrome with glass. French country, cottage core is what I really like. Crystal, silver, old China 😅, pretty fabrics.

100% love the "Angle of Hope". As a cross stitcher I can tell you that took hours to comple. $42 is an amazing price for that

Hey Kelly! I’ve been to Westminister Abby when I was younger. My daddy was in the Air Force and we lived in France until DeGaulle removed all the Americans off the bases so we lived in England for the last 1 1/2 of a 3 year stint. We did get to do a lot of traveling while we were there. I was in 3-5th grade. One thing I did not see though is your Eiffel Tower. It was a great experience! Jerri

When I was a kid, we used to go to a cottage in Seabrook New Hampshire. There was an old Victrola there that we used to play. That brass horn on that old record player was absolutely magnificent. Vintage and antique furniture

My paper dolls weren't so fancy either lol. They were fun though. I just can't imagine having enough money to pay 3500.00 for a credenza. Come to think of it, I can't imagine having enough money to buy it at the restore either.😂

Beautiful furniture

I decorate for Easter. I used to use the Paas kits to dye real eggs, but can't see wasting the eggs. I still have my childhood Easter basket. I put chocolates and jelly beans in it. Also have Ukrainian Easter eggs bought while living in NYC. I'm half Ukrainian and my sister knows how to dye them using real eggs, wax and a multi-step process. But I'm not artistic.

I think the prices have increased! But they are still pretty good!

I can’t wait to visit these stores! But our trip will unfortunately be delayed now. I have to go back and have a second surgery on my arm that I broke in April 😬. But hopefully by Fall we will make it.
