I have followed you guys since your early videos and showed you to my friends every chance I could get. I have received my high school diploma, been through a breakup, moved away from my family, started a business, failed a business, and gained 15lbs since I started watching you. You have made me laugh at night under my covers when I was trying not to wake my roommate. You have gotten me strange looks from old friends when I wipe tears from my eyes after sharing a video. You may or may not have been the cause of that breakup. Not 15 minutes ago, as I lay on the carpet in my apartment because it's my day off from work, my phone buzzed with a notification that Aunty Donna has posted another video... Not just any video, but a continuation of my favorite series. Will they disappoint me? Have they ever? No - not only was I shaking with silent laughter (I don't laugh out loud so it's a compliment) 2 minutes into the video, but I also decided that this time, I would thank you with my whole heart for being there for me when my parents weren't. I have witnessed many things in my life such as child birth, the making of a child, and the look on someone's face when they found out they won the lotto. But none of those things compare to the beauty and magnificence of you three lads and your videos. There's always that moment when the screen goes dark after a video, when you can see yourself in the reflection. You start thinking about your life, emotions, the universe, all kinds of meanings... sometimes, you go even deeper, and you don't notice the screen isn't dark anymore. You can't see your reflection on the screen, but you can see it inside of yourself, you don't know how, but you start using your minds eye and traverse what you thought was impossible in your journey throghout your own psychology. It is the moment answers are revealed to you, mysteries solved... But never has it happened that i gazed upon myself like that, and said out loud... "Holy fucking assbut shit, what the hell was that?" Thanks for unanswering all the questions. I love you, keep being Aunty Donna.

I believe that this is the philosophy behind the title of the show "Black Mirror". You watch the show on your TV, phone or whatever, the whole time wondering how the world and society could come to such a messed up point, and by the end of the episode, you're left looking at yourself in the reflection of the viewing device - the Black Mirror.
