We get more background on Rip's past (relative term in a time travel show). The show is mostly fun but takes a serious turn when Hana's favorite rouge goes "rogue" and betrays the crew. Hana is devastated when Cold seems to execute Nick on some planet. But since we did not see a dead Nick (habeas corpus rule of TV) it could be a writer's trick. For what it's worth the IMDB has Dominic Purcell down for 16 episodes. It hard to imagine that Heat Wave will appear as a flashback in the remaining nine episodes. After all Heat Wave is not Oliver Queen for God sakes! So take heart Hana, the "Heat" will be turned back on soon I suspect.
