prob because the plot of spyxfamily is fairy simple

the plot of spyxfam is quite simple lol unlike the world of mha where even the most random character gets their own time to shine. besides mha has 6 seasons (and more manga chapters) while spyxfam has just recently started

Well the reason you are supposed to feel bad is that in Toga’s mind, that answer she got(keep in mind from someone she admires and “wants to be”), confirms to her that people don’t see her as a person. Which has been her problem her entire life. People have been calling her a demon, a vampire, all of these horrible things in a way of separating her due to her quirk. Toga is honestly a good example of irl juveniles because of her past. People who are neglected or alienated turn to rebellion, and then adding on the fact that he quirk makes her yearn for blood just marked her doom as a villain. Despite the hero’s having better morals then her, she didn’t deserve that(tho she can’t change what she’s done, which is why she is still viewed as a villain and that’s fine). Keep in mind that she still has the mind if a child and IS a child(adolescent). He psyche is bound to be more messed up(which is why her view of what Ochaco said is so horrible despite Ochaco thinking it’s a perfectly fair response). Hope this helps you understand a little bit(I mean it’s also just anime using fallacies which ALWAYS happens. They’re using like 4 different Appeals to Emotion lol)…also if it helps I’m not just like taking this out of thin air, I’m preparing to study psychology in university so

@@iauizze Yeah I already know all of that (That sounds a bit rude, but it isn't supposed to). But what I don't know is why it's phrased in a way that is intended to make us sad for her. She made her bed and now she has to lie in it, especially since she's a known serial killer. Additionally she didn't even give Ochaco context to the question, it's just not a good scene in general because we have zero reason to feel sympathy for her. Which I actually think is intentional, it's phrased in a way where you think you should feel sympathy but you have no reason to, showing how disconnected some of these villains are from reality.

@@_..Evangelion.._ yeah that makes sense. I personally think that it’s kind of open ended if you want to feel bad for her. There are plenty of people that, especially in shows, enjoy pitying villain over hero’s(whether in the show they have that actual title or not) while there are others that just see it for how it is(as you are doing). Neither is wrong, it’s kind of just up to the person. Most creators just choose to give villainous characters bad backstories as a means to explaining them as well as creating some kind of relatable character(usually just relating to the moral values or backstory). Media is just all over the place honestly lol
